My brother once told me he could only live in the middle of nowhere (or live into the tiny town we go to in the summer in New York) if he was having an "art phase" in which he would just do intense art with paint and metal and stuff and just create and sleep when he wanted to and listen to music all day and night and do nothing but art and occasionally go swimming in the river.
