Some questions and answers about the art media that I've used for my art projects lately: Woodlands, 2027 Calendar, and Faraway Dreaming.
I've also written a couple posts about my illustration process over at the Woodlands Kickstarter.

I kind of hate when people are like
"Erm you're not a real comic fan if you only read the big 2. You should be reading all these Indie comics
My brother christ I don't read DC because I like comics I READ DC BECAUSE MY SON COMES FROM DC
that's the medium and universe Damian Wayne is from and I extend myself to other parts of the universe lore but primarily I'm here for one character-
Maybe it's just me. It's less about the medium of story telling and just whether not I enjoy the story
I've adored comics, manga, anime, novels, live action, cartoons, movies. As a kid I'd be like wow I only love anime! I don't watch anything because anything that comes from anime is the best.
But as I've grown up it's- least to me. Less about how the creators give it to you and more about how much i love what they give you.
A part of a current process of my art piece!!
Photo Id: {2 pictures of a sketchbook on carpet. The first picture is a void with color with a circle and lines that signify the direction of the face is going. The second image is a colorful amount of no sense. There are scribbles, curves, circles and much more all in color. However this isnt the end of the colorful endeavors} End Id.
Also HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Been trying to experiment with different mediums when I’m emotionally riled and need to have some calm down time. India ink with a paintbrush may very well be my favorite feeling medium, as it feels just glorious gliding over a page, but I don’t think they’re very... Transportable? I feel like I’d spill a lot if I was carrying around bottles of ink with me. But there’s always the possibility of transferring the ink from a glass bottle to a plastic travel bottle. (Hmmm.... may experiment with that in the future...) Watercolors would be my second favorite feeling, and are what I usually go to first when in emotional distress. The wide range of colors in my usual palette seems more cheer-inducing than just black india ink would be. I’d say markers are an occasional favorite, as I’ll sometimes use them when they’re at hand (see the purple blob above, another of my calm down drawings).
Will have to just keep experimenting with different mediums! Mediums that can be practically done anywhere, of course.
