And I totally haven’t rewatched all those torture scenes multiple times and got annoyed whenever said torture was interrupted by flashbacks— I would never …
Nah jk I will continue to rewatch those scenes, that’s indeed one of my favorite episodes and Chase is my favorite Arrow villain. Third favorite Arrowverse villain. The absolute psychological warfare he waged on Oliver was INSANE and he was so awesome. Excellent whumper and I do wish we saw more of him.

Here's my not so great attempt at a one person recreation of the scene in 5x17 when Oliver returns to the Bunker. This one was more difficult to make than my previous videos because I had to make my best educated guess as to what Felicity was doing during the parts of the scene where the camera wasn't on her.

I’m back re-watching Arrow with my best friend (we started last spring and now she is addicted) and we’re in the middle of 5x17, an episode which hurts me in my soul. I’m gonna need lots of chocolate and red wine to get over it.
