@arrogancex "Okay, I'll hug you." He looks over his shoulder and runs to his grandfather to give him a big hug. He even hugs him strong enough to knock his glasses off his face.
"Hey! Don't you come and welcome your grandpa back, little friend?"
Albus looks at his grandfather and shrugs. He’s at that age, just old enough to have finished his first year at Hogwarts, just young enough to still eat off kids menus.“IM twelve now,” he declares.“IM not a baby anymore.”
Of dreams and chasers
Red hot panic coursed through her. If the dreams had caused Lily's heart rate to quicken, the current circumstances were shooting it to levels that bordered on hypertensive emergency. Carpeting. Carpeting was a safe topic to occupy her mind with. Thoughts of carpeting wouldn't betray the fantasies Lily had been entertaining her head. Carpeting wouldn't cause her face to flush, or her breath to catch in her throat. It was while she was staring intently at the carpeting decorating the Common Room floor that Lily processed what James was saying. And what he was saying wasn't...entirely rude. It should have calmed her, but instead his utter lack of mockery sent a fresh wave of questions swirling about her head. Was he oblivious to what she'd been dreaming of? Had it really been all in her head? No soft moans, no quiet gasps? Lily couldn't believe her luck. Or had he heard it all? How long had he even been sitting there? Merlin's fuzzy pink socks, had she been talking in her sleep? Was that the reason behind his slightly flustered state? With some difficulty, Lily tore her gaze from the carpeting to meet his. Mustering what was left of her meager composure, she managed a dignified, "I don't need watching, Potter. I'm not a child." It was a harsh reply to what she could onyl assume was a half-hearted attempt at chivalry, but Lily feared any shred of gentleness could hint at the change of heart she'd recently had regarding James. And, well, she hadn't even gathered the wherewithal to address that herself.
Going to James || James
Lily had everything ready for the new semester. She was a Chaser for the Gryffindor Team. James was the Seeker. They were going to win the house cup next year. Slytherin had won the past two years. Mostly due to a boy named the Half Blood Prince. She saw a car pull up with James and his parents. “Mum ..my rides here”She said closing her book and went over to see James. “Thought you were going to write this summer?”she teased her best friend and she smiled nudging him a little.

When you’re in the middle of a war, fighting every day just to survive, it’s hard to notice the little things. You never stop to smell the roses, sunsets never seem beautiful. You don’t take your life for granted, necessarily, but the small little details get jumbled up. For example, in Lily Potter’s case, it was easy to forget she missed her period. Twice. But she noticed that now, really, when she was hugging the toilet, feeling like she was about to die. She was a generally healthy individual, so she doubted it was the flu. Not when, moments before, she felt fine. That was, until she smelled eggs. Panic was etched on her features, shaking hands gripping the porcelain as her stomach settled. No. No. No. There was no way this was happening, not now, not when she was nineteen, and in the middle of a war, and just barely married. No, she was just being paranoid. Still, as soon as she was able, it was a quick pop! down to the local corner market, where she got not one, not two, but three different pregnancy tests. And all said the same damn thing, the same wonderful, awful, terrifying thing. She was pregnant. And so, here she was, in their flat, pacing in the living room, trying to calm down as she waited for James to get home, green eyes on the clock. He would be home soon. He would be home, and she would tell him. She would just go out and say it. ‘ James, I’m pregnant. ‘ ‘ James, we’re going to be parents. ‘ ‘ Hey love, remember that one time the condom broke? ‘ Oh, Merlin, how the bloody hell was she going to do this?
