Hey @arounited, I was just looking at your FAQ and saw that your definition of queerplatonic relationships says “A queerplatonic relationship is a type of relationship that is not romantic or platonic in nature.” As someone in a QPR, that seems more like an alterous relationship to me? My QPR is very much platonic, and the way I personally interpret the term is that it's about queering what is expected and “allowed” in a platonic relationship.
I don't personally use the term alterous, but I've heard it described as “the non-binary of attraction/relationships,” meaning that it includes things that are platonic but not quite, romantic but not quite, both romantic and platonic, something else all together, and other things besides.
I would really appreciate it if you'd consider reworking your definition of queerplatonic relationships
