Ever since I read that thing John Green wrote a while back and decided to try it for myself.

Dipper stood tall as he watched people enter the ballroom. Tonight was a ball his family would throw. Dipper was not a fan of dancing but was forced to take lesson 'as a prince and princess should' is what his great uncle told him. He found it ridiculous to dance so he stood against the wall glass of champagne in his hand. 'Introvert' was what they called him at these social events. But he didn't mind. It was better than embarrassing himself with his two left feet. Besides, he liked to watch people like this. He felt a bit creepy about it but watching them helped him improve his social skills. Watching how people reacted to one another, their body moments, their tone of voice. He was never good at socializing so he'd mostly fake his emotions in order be socially 'fit'.
