Oberleutnant Rudolf-Heinz Ruffer (January 7, 1920 – July 16, 1944) of the 4th Squadron of the 1st Luftwaffe Attack Squadron (4./SchlG1) next to his Henschel Hs.129B-2 attack aircraft. Ruffer destroyed 20 Soviet tanks during the Battle of Kursk, and had a total of 72 kills. 1943.
