Wow so apparently aro day was a thing that I missed? And so did the rest of tumblr???
i feel so terrible for missing aroday so shoutout to all my aros that shared basic facts about themselves and participating in such an event. I’m proud of every single one of you even if you decided to not participate in the event!
What I've learnt from aroday is that aromantics are really attractive :')
Here are my selfies for aroday! 7 facts: 1. This is the first selfie I’ve posted anywhere, ever! 2. Though I may look the tender age of 12, I’m actually 16. 3. My best school subject it history. 4. I do wear an ace ring, though it isn’t in these pictures. 5. I took these selfies instead of doing homework. 6. I love succulents. 7. I’ve been identifying as aromantic for over a year.

So, apparently it’s Meet the Aro Day (or was, timezones are weird). Some facts about me:
1. I am aromantic, pandemisexual, and agender (they/them). As you can probably imagine, it’s a weird and confusing mix to exist as sometimes, but I am slowly learning to accept myself for who I am.
2. I’m Australian.
3. I’ve known I was somewhere on the ace and aro spectrums since about April last year, and it took me a while to figure out exactly where that was, and to come to be willing to face up to that. My gender took a bit longer to work with, and it was in December that I felt confident enough to take ‘agender’ as the best fit for me.
4. Fanfiction, and fandom in general (specifically Tolkien), has been such an important support for me with all this, and I’m so incredibly grateful for all the wonderful people I’ve met through it.
5. Anyone who has questions about what it’s like to be aro, especially those who are questioning, are more than welcome to come into my inbox. It’s open anytime.
This is my aro ring. I've been wearing it for a while now. I love it. It's ceramic and has held up nicely. :)
Meet the Aro day!!
I am aro and here are some facts about me: 1) I'm also asexual 2) I like singing and dancing and musical theatre 3) I'm almost done with my junior year of high school 4) Today I made cupcakes 5) I am a Unitarian Universalist 6) I want to leave the Midwest for college and go to a small liberal arts college probably in the Northeast US 💚💚
