AroAce Deceit who uses Tinder and other dating apps just so people will pay him tickets for movies when he actually gets a date and runs away before anything goes further than that.
âWhat? I like the movies experience but I donât like paying for that, better have someone who does that for me.â
Heâd go on those dates and once heâs done he says âExcuse me, I need to go the toiletâ and never comes back.
He matches with Remus, who calls him for their first date at a theater play.
âMy brother is performing thereâ he says âAnd he managed to get me 2 tickets for freeâ
Deceit accepts and they meet at a cafe right next to the theater. He enjoys Remusâs wild personality and actually have a fun time with him, at least itâs a fun date.
They talk for some time, get to know more about each other⌠And then, out of sudden, Remus says âYouâre asexual, right?â
Deceit gets surprised and says âYes, how did you know?â
Remus says he noticed since the beginning for stereotypical and yet funny reasons (things like âall aces wants to have a dragonâ after Deceit talks a lot about his passion for dragon stories, nothing actually mean) which makes Deceit chuckle a bit while feeling stupid for confirming it so easily.
âAnd also I noticed the black ring in the right middle finger!â he points to Deceitâs ring that looks like a black snake curling up on his finger. At least one actual good reason. He knew about the black ring thing because his brotherâs boyfriend, Virgil, is also ace.
âWhy did you asked me on a date then? Iâm not getting into anything with you so why did you give it a shot?â
Remus shrugs and says âNo one likes to go to theater plays and even less likes to watch anything with me but you didnât seem to care about it so I just didnât want to be alone and actually watch my brotherâs play with someoneâ
Deceit feels sad for the rat man so he goes to the play and makes sure to stay with him till the end of the day. He meets Roman and his boyfriend, goes out to eat a pizza with them after the play and tells him he had a great time.
They become friends and maybe, why not, end up in Queerplatonic Relationship?
Everyone is happy in the end

"Person A leaving Person B little notes all over their house/apartment..." with some soft QPR Roceit?
(Ok!!)
Roman had come to terms with being aromantic quite a while before Deceit, and was also a lot more affectionate.
No, that was a lie. They just spoke in different love languages.
Deceit liked to show his love by doing things for and with Roman. Doing the dishes, offering to cook, going to art galleries and listening to him talk about how unimaginative still life pieces were.
Roman liked to show his with physical touch and words. Pulling Deceit into hugs, ruffling his hair, telling him how amazing and talented he was whilst kissing his cheek.
So really, he hadnât expected Deceit to return the post-it notes heâd left around the house.
One in Deceitâs sock drawer saying âI love you!â
One in his make up bag saying âyour make up skills are SUPER!â
One on the bathroom mirror saying âyou light up my wolrd~â
But when he comes across scribbled notes on post-its he feels overwhelmed with joy.
Even when he sees it just says âI love me tooâ, heâs happy, because he knows Deceit wouldnât return it at all if he didnât care.
(Later he insists on cuddling, and gently tells him he appreciated the note back, to which Deceit denies writing it altogether whilst blushing.)
Sympathetic Deceit Week Day 6: Anxceit (look, I realize itâs past!anxceit, but this didnât really fit any other day and I really wanted to participate)
Summary:Â To Deceit, lying is as natural as breathing. But the truth has a way of breaking free. And maybe, just maybe, that doesnât have to be a bad thing.
Warnings: Sympathetic Deceit. Internalized arophobia and transphobia.Â
Deceit had kept hidden for a very long time. The others might think it was part of some masterful plot, but the truth, as much as Deceit could say, was much simpler. The reason Deceit stayed out of sight, was to keep from being seen. Itâs a bit obvious, stated like that, but so far no one had caught on. And Deceit wanted to keep it that way. The reasons behind the hiding were⌠embarrassing, in a certain way. Not something that most would want known. If Deceit wanted to keep up the carefully-constructed facade of an apathetic liar, then this was the best way to do it. Of course, the truth is a tricky, slippery thing. No matter how hard one tries to keep it hidden, it finds its way into the light eventually.
Things hadnât always been like this. For a long time, Deceitâs main companion had been Virgil, or Anxiety, as he was still known in those days. They were both starved for attention and care, and found those things in each other. They were together in the romantic sense for a while, but that wasnât meant to be. And it was when they broke it off, as a friendly agreement, that Deceit began to notice things. Like how there hadnât been that âsparkâ that everything and everyone said should be there. Like how Deceit had felt desire, but not the right kind. Deceit loved Virgil, without a doubt, but was not in love with him. If Virgil had been amicable, Deceit would have gone to bed with him in an instant (he wasnât, and they didnât). But romantic gestures felt empty, and wrong in some way. This was when Deceit realized that feeling this way was wrong, and unacceptable. And so began the hiding. As much as it hurt to do so, Deceit pulled away, and holed up in the back of the mindspace. Virgil was left alone and confused, and Deceit was hurting and isolated.
Deceit wasnât completely cut off during this time. There were still ways of obtaining information about both the outside world and what was happening in the rest of the mindspace. The internet was a wonderful place, where anyone could be anyone. Lying was, in some ways, encouraged, and in other ways, the truth could be more brazenly displayed. And it was through this medium that Deceit discovered the word âtransgenderâ, and that she rather liked being called a girl. She had noticed a sense of wrongness before, a disconnect between her body, otherâs assumptions, and her own image of herself, which she now knew was called dysphoria. But she also knew that this had to be hidden, like everything else unusual about her. Some intrinsic part of her balked at the idea of sharing this with anyone. And so she lied. So well, in fact, that she managed to convince herself. She must have been mistaken. She- no, he, was no different from any of the others. That was the way things had to be.
Okay, so perhaps attempting to convince Thomas to lie through taking on the guise of his moral center hadnât been the best method of introduction. And sure, maybe s-he deserved the rather⌠frosty reception from the other Sides that came after. But Deceit couldnât bring her-himself to regret it. It had been the perfect opportunity, and it wasnât like any permanent harm had been done, right? The only problem had been her his moment of weakness. He(she) just couldnât resist slipping that little hint in, with that little glimmer of hope that maybe, just maybe, someone would pick up on it. That dream had been firmly crushed in the following minutes. What Deceit had failed to notice was the gleam in Loganâs eyes indicating the presence of a puzzle to be solved.
In the following months, there were many changes in Deceitâs life. For one, (she)he was made to realize the error of her-his actions. For another shehe, she, began to recognize that she couldnât keep this secret forever, not even from herself. Sure, at this point, she was much closer to the others, had apologized and done her best to make things right, and had more (ugh) trust in them, but the urge to keep lying was still as strong as ever. And, as much as Deceit hated to admit it, she was scared. Scared that maybe, she hadnât changed as much as she thought, and that they knew that too. Scared that they would say she was lying, scoff at her confession, make her leave- there was a lot. But that little speck of hope was still there too. But it was so small, against this dark tide of fear. She just⌠needed more time. Thatâs all. She just had to wait for the perfect opportunity.
