“Are......are you looking for something?” The young man had been tinkering with a machine for quite a few minutes with the feeling that he was being watched. The beautiful woman across the platform was obviously looking in his direction, but he wasn’t sure if it was at him of the bike that he had been working on. 

   The Doctor is pleased with herself that she’s managed this for River, who she knows has been swimming with work. They both have, but at least the Doctor doesn’t have INTERNS to deal with; if anything, River deserves the break. For both of them being time travelers, they hardly take any sorts of vacations. Darillium was perhaps the exception, even slightly forced as it was. She’d trade those years for nothing in the universe. But the Captain of the Morpheus owes her a favour or seven and so it’s relatively easy to gain a week’s vacation with a stateroom and anything the ship offers (casinos, ballrooms, pools, and even then some) at their disposal.

      “Don’t you look ravishing.” The Doctor muses, and it’s truth; she’s hardly able to keep her gaze from River the moment she materialises. She can’t stop herself from reaching out to take her wife’s hand, to take hold of her before she floats away or whisked off by a handsome stranger. She lifts River’s hand to her lips and kisses her knuckles gently, brushing a thumb across her skin. 

                     ❝ you’ve redecorated.  ❞ the doctor remarks as she looks around the office. it’s been a few centuries since she’s seen river song and she knows her wife isn’t going to recognise her at first. maybe this’ll give her a nudge in the right way.

                                      ❝   --i don’t like it. ❞

                      she can’t hear what the woman’s saying, but  the ‘who the hell are you’ is clear enough to read on her face, never mind her lips. missy decides to have a little fun with it, seeing as though she hasn’t been recognised.

                                          ❝ i’m the doctor. ❞

     desire is a thing he’s more than a little familiar with. it was, as the detective calls it, his super power. he could draw out people’s most secret, deepest desires & in situations like this, granted some of them. he doesn’t need to ask her what she wants, though.   he'd seen in her eyes when she came through the door. her smile had been different, too. something much, much naughtier. so when he finds himself on the sofa, her in his lap & kissing his neck, lucifer isn’t surprised.

    his hands settle confidently at her waist, lips curling into a devilish smile. he revels in the tingle that goes straight down his spine when she pulls back,  eyes searching hers for consent before he leans in. lucifer catches the archaeologist’s lips with his own.
