Death Korps AU: Do Cinder and Jaune get their Happy ending?
Depends a lot on your definition of Happy Ending. Do they settle down on a nice farm and live their days growing food and eating apple pies? No.
But they do get their Happy End in a way. With Salem dead and Ozpin gone, they and heroes make a pact. Telling the world of Relics is no option. Summoning the Gods less so. So each side - Light and Darkness - will keep two of the Relics and walk separate ways.
Cinder is the Queen of Grimm now, the wielder of the Relic of Choice.
And Jaune is her High Knight and the holder of the Relic of Destruction.
Their lives are not perfect the way they are.
But they are what they are and they are happy with them.
