yet another Dishonored easter egg in Prey :)
Hearing about Redfall makes me so fucking depressed because even beyond just the shitty technical performance of the game, the game itself feels so uninspired and bland that it's a genuine conundrum to me how the same studio that made Dishonored is somehow responsible for this mess.
I mean I don't wanna pass the buck when it's probably genuinely their fuckup, but I can't help but feel like some corpo nut job was holding a gun to their heads, forcing them to make this. It's not even a game where I can just say "yeah it just needed another year or two more development", the game feels creatively bankrupt from even just a conceptual stage. They could've had an eternity to make the game and I'm still not sure it would've been good.
And it just depresses me because we all know what happens to studios who fuck up big time like this, they either get thinned out, and/or they get shuttered entirely, and all of their IPs just flat out die. No more Dishonored. No more Prey. No more Deathloop. All just gone.
