Hi there! In terms of getting a job in animation, one of the best ways is to do an internship or trainee program in order to get your foot in the door. Trainee programs at studios are usually designed for recent grads, and allow you to get hands on experience working within a studio. In addition internships or trainee programs also allow you to make connections and network within a studio, which can help you get your next job in the future. Specifying your portfolio or reel is also good, such as creating a specific storyboard portfolio if you want to pursue storyboarding, since recruiters tend to look for more focused portfolios in whichever area you are interested in pursuing.
