I AM SO EXCITED 

There's a Latin area convention this weekend, it starts on Friday with certamen at night. I went to my old high school to help out with certamen practice, and the JCL meeting, and it was absolutely fantastic. Damn, I'm so rusty on my mythology... and my history. And everything else, granted I've never been the best at Latin grammar. Anyways, since this year I'm in Senior Classical League, I get to help out instead of actually competing which is awesome cause I would never miss a chance to be around the Classics. (Looks great in college apps too) So basically on Friday I'm helping out with Certamen, and Saturday I'm judging the play contest and sight recitation! Which are my two favorite events. I wish my school had had a bigger Latin program, but oh well! It was still a lot of fun, and my fondest memories were of the conventions. Oh! And I'll get to see all of my Latin friends from other schools that I haven't seen in forever, and of course of most of the seniors from the club. 

BTW~ If you're going to Area F, I'll probably see you there, and I'll probably be in a bow tie.
