my favorite fic of yours: wow. ok wow is that difficult. (may or may not have spent ten minutes staring at your ao3 works trying to narrow it down.) but i have to choose imperfect. i could not tell you how many times i’ve read it. it’s just...the most romantic. sad. special. unpredictable. it can be really hard to take characters who exist in a very specific time and put them somewhere else, in such different circumstances. but you did it wonderfully. i love the notes she writes for him. i love the angst that comes with him being her patient. the angst that comes with their miscommunication. there are so many good lines that, if it were a physical book in my hands, i would highlight and mark all over. from “they spent two hours playing chess that afternoon” to “i wish you'd always sleep this peacefully right beside me.”

my favorite thing about you as a writer: that you can write those sentences where it’s like—how did they say so much with so few words? also just the balance that you have in your fics. whether that be balancing angst with romance. character study with smut. whatever it is. you know how to do it. i love the tropes you use as well, and how you use them.

my favorite scene you’ve written: the diner scene in chapter eight of this great fic. ya know. that scene. it’s really memorable to me and just so cute and so them. fake dating is...a thing. like, damn, we really HAVE TO kiss rn how tragic.

His statements really weird me out. You can still win an Emmy even if you played a POS villain who everyone hated and who deserved all that hate. You don’t have to like your character to be able to play them extremely well.
