Yuya wouldn’t even try to explain himself. Actually, he wasn’t even sure where he needed to start, but the time Yuzu glanced away, she’d find exactly one Yuya that’d stepped forward to pull her a completely unexplained hug. Call it a relief from everything they’d just been through, but even the Phantom wouldn’t deny he was content with this.

       Shun had told him about these humans called “suitors” before, the ones who would petition to be his princess’s mate, but further explanation proved that should Ruri take a suitor, it would be a good chance that she would eventually leave to marry that suitor and that meant either he’d stay behind or be forced to leave his flight. On top of that, he just didn’t like the idea.

❱❱ It might’ve taken Rin awhile to coax Yugo into sleeping indoors instead of outside; but on nights like right now, when the flashbacks were too much and the nightmares from what Serena had put him through all but forced him to clamp onto Rin’s arm in his sleep, Yugo probably would’ve preferred being outside on his own.

It was like he could still feel the slash of claws; all the whacks, smacks, and beatings he’d ever been through for not ‘being good enough’ as he heard those word echo.

Marinette never thought she would be back in the Satellite after everything that’s happened. Getting caught by Sector Security, finding out that she was kidnapped at a young age, the Fortune Cup, the Crimson Dragon, everything was going by so fast. There was barely any time for Marinette to catch her breath as she gently touched the mark on her face. She was only home for a year before she got called into this mess, and in that time she reconnected with her parents. She never expected to be the daughter of the founders of a very popular cafe, with the possibility of turning it into a chain on the table. 

Another sigh escaped her lips as she sat outside Martha’s home. She was worried, worried that they wouldn’t be able to save her home in time. She wasn’t anyone that special, she wasn’t a Signer. The main reason she got to come on this trip was because of how she evaded Sector Security for two years. Despite learning her heritage, she still considered the Satellite her home. This is where she spent most of her years growing up, and nothing will be able to change that.

“Sooooooooooooo I hear you’re Yugo’s friend. I don’t think i’ve met you yet. I’m Yuuri, certified flourist and poison specialist.”

He smiles a toothy grin which shows his chipped fang and his irregularly extended fang. He’s holding a potted plant—a Venus flytrap that seemed more alive than usual. His overalls had months of wear and tear from constant plant-tending.

“Care to take a tour of my plant house? I have no one to show it to.”

Only once Rin’s assault of thrown books, lamps and other nearby objects is over does he sit back up; having dove to the safety of the floor only mere moments ago, before his head had gotten taken off by a flying desk. His hands immediately go poking and prodding at all his newfound aches and pains. And boy... There was quiet a few.

“Ow, ow, ow...”

His face still hurt terribly, the blood dripping from his nose finally slowing to a slight dribble that he now wipes at again. Rin really got him good there. It was just too bad Yuri hadn’t stayed in control of his body long enough to feel the force of her wrath in full himself. Instead he receded just before, leaving Yugo with the aftermath: A bloody nose, a now upset Rin, and a terrible taste in his mouth.

He supposes that explains where Yuri had gone after winning their duel. His stomach churning at the thought of that bastard someway, somehow getting inside him though. It didn’t make much sense to him. But then again, nothing that guy ever said or did made sense anyway. But this was definitely going to be trouble...

Yugo wanted Yuri as far away from him and Rin as possible. But now... So long as Yuri remained inside him, he would be as close to Rin as he was. He shakes his head; too many thoughts swirling and mixing and making a low-key headache now known. But that wasn’t the worst of his concerns right now. He opens his eyes to the sounds of Rin’s sudden sobs. His eyes, now a clear blue hue once more, gaze upon her.

“H-he’s gone now, Rin...” He could only hope that made enough sense to her. “It’s me again... Yugo! I... I swear it.”

He’s not sure how to explain himself just yet. But there was no point in thinking that far ahead when he wasn’t even sure Rin would hear him out just yet. First and foremost; he’d have to get her to calm down. Which he knew would be no easy task.

“Well, well, well. What do we have here? A dragon being a troublemaker?” She muses; her sharp eyes glaring at the dragon boy below her that was covered in ripped fabrics and materials. This dragon had only recently come into her life; finding him begging for help outside her tower and decided to take in the poor creature. Though, it seems like he was going to be more trouble than she anticipated. However, being the powerful mage that Eve was, she could handle a baby dragon. She could do almost anything.

She knelt down in front of the boy; pulling out a magic card that soon glowed and soon a butterfly made of her magic energy landed on top of it. The wings of the creature spread out; emitting a powerful spell on him with many averse affects which caused his eyes to glow a light pink. Normally, this kind of spell would be hard to cast, but since the child wasn’t a human and a young being, it would hit him full power.

“From now on, you are my pet and I am your mistress, Lady Eve. You will obey my commands without question, give me all the love and attention your feeble heart can muster, and be the gleaming image of perfection in every aspect. You know what is expected of you and you shall do it to the best of your abilities. You will know how to do everything I ask of you. Why wouldn’t you wish to serve the one who saved your feeble life? Don’t worry child…you won’t ever be alone again…”

The light soon died down as she finished casting her spell; Eve stepping back to look at the child. His eyes now had that light pink tint; turning the color to a bright fushia. Now, it was time to test to see if the spell worked.

“Oh dear, it appears you’ve made quite the mess here dear. This simply will not do! You cannot expect me to live in such a mess! Clean this up and prepare my bed for resting. It is quite late…” She puts her hand to her chin; realizing she hadn’t named the child yet. “Yuri, please get on that Yuri. Chop Chop! There is no time to delay! You won’t get those special pats you like so much if you delay!”

The young boy was caught between an odd mix of human and dragon; his skin freckled with scales and tail hugged close to his body to keep it still. In his young years he hadn’t quite mastered the shifting process just yet. And while his clothes were in tatters and he looked an absolute mess; he was just happy to be out of the cold weather and inside this lady’s home.

His gaze had been downcast until stilted pupils catch interest in the card she held in front of him, and before long he gets lost in the beat of the butterfly’s wings. For a while the world was muted; grey even, as he hyper-focused on every word she-- Lady Eve-- was saying. Only when colour bleeds back into his surroundings and the glow of his eyes burn out does he blink, his eyes adjusting as if he’d just seen light for the first time in days.

“...Oh!” 

It’s a delayed response, but he sees what she had meant the moment he looks around; dirt and small bits of fabrics littering Eve’s immaculate home from his entering. The trail leads right to where he now stands, barefooted; his features twisting in disgust as he realized just how filthy he had been. That wouldn’t do, not at all! Not if he wanted to continue living here. He reaches down to use the hem of his gown, what was left of it anyway, to try cleaning himself up before he went sauntering around the tower

He ceases his efforts as she next addressed him though. Yuri..? The boy’s eyes light up as he looks up at her and he smiles for what felt like the first time in his life this far. ‘Yuri’-- that was him! She had given him a name... He’s never had one before! So he decides to treasure it always, as well as the one who had given it to him.

“Right away, Mistress!” Yuri exclaims, arms outstretched as he jumps back up to his now wiped off feet. “Leave it to me, Lady Eve! I’ll be finished at once.” At that he runs off, his tail dragging behind him awkwardly as he sets off to clean up as best he can and do as Eve asked of him. After all, the promise of head pats wasn’t bad motivation either, and he finishes relatively quickly. But there’s just one problem now.
