“Zarc…” The whisper of his name is soft as she then turns around to face him again, her hollow form approaching him and hugging him from behind. Even if he couldn’t feel it due to them both being spirits, she still hopes he understands the gesture’s meaning at the very least. After all, one might think she’d be still angry, but she wasn’t. Quite the opposite in fact.

“Shh…It’s alright, I’m here. I know…I know you lost your way, and…I shouldn’t blame for all of it. Your beasts and the crowd corrupted your heart. You got lost in it all, but…you know what? It’s all over. No more performances…No more displays of grandeur… Yuuya Sakaki will take on your legacy, as will Yuzu Hiiragi will for mine…You, no. We can…finally be at peace…Don’t you want that?”

She hopes he does, and that they can finally be at rest. They don’t belong in this world anymore. It be best to just go and be in a much happier place than stuck as ghosts in this world. Where they would go is anyone’s guess, but as long as they were together, would it matter?

How typical…” Irritation oozes through her voice as she has to continue to hold onto the man for support. Her leg really did hurt, and she would need medical help and quickly. Leo was going to kill her when he finds out about this.

However, the stranger’s response causes her to pause. “Y-Yes, I am Ray, Ray Akaba. Though, you cannot tell me you are Zarc? The duelist who uses dragons who is rising through the ranks? Considering your reputation, I wasn’t expecting you to be so…unfocused. Either way, would you mind helping me get somewhere with medical staff? I-I can’t really walk on my own unfortunately, and since you’re the reason I fell, you owe it to me to help.”

Slowly, the young Akaba gets to her feet but has to grasp onto the stranger’s shoulder for support. Seems like she injured it pretty badly. “T-Thank you for the help, b-but what were you even doing snooping around here? If he didn’t than he truly was a fool. She did not know much about his upbringing or how he could hear spirits much like she could, but the fact he didn’t think his decisions through bothered her to no end. Sure, one could say all of this happened because of her Father’s creation, but the blame wasn’t on him for what happened. It was all on Zarc.

“Get over your pride and just admit it. You needed the praise. You needed those cheers, even if you had to hurt others to get it. Even if you hurt me…someone I thought you cared about, or were all those times we spent together meaningless to you? You were selfish, oh so selfish…And don’t try to argue with me on that.”
