Okay so most people know that I had a HUGE crush on Slenderman. In Philippine Literature class, the instruction was to write about the last man you think about at night before going to sleep, the first man you think about when you wake up in the morning, or a man in your life. You can only choose one.

Since all I really think about at night is sleep, and all I really think about in the morning is... more sleep, I didn't know what to write about. Plus, writing is not one of my talents.

I tried considering my ex as the topic for the paper but I don’t really think about him. I think about my crush most of the time but there’s not much to say about him. I’m still learning more about him so meh. I was just like feck it I’ll just write about Slenderman. It doesn’t have to be realistic or true. I just wanted to finish the task BECAUSE IT’S DUE THE NEXT DAY AND I HAVEN’T STARTED!

So I wrote this...

“You’re the reason why I’m not so afraid of the dark anymore. I used to leave the lights on at night because I can’t go to sleep with them shut off. The feeling of not knowing who or what was with me in the dark would keep me up wondering. You’re the reason why I’m not so scared to go downstairs to the kitchen at night to get something to drink or eat. You would even help me reach my favorite snacks on the top shelf. You’re the reason why I don’t run up the stairs anymore after switching the lights off downstairs because I know there’s no demon or monster that’s going to chase me and kill me. I look back, and you’re the one behind me. I also used to be scared to take a shower at night but now I’m not. I can shower at night with the lights off and I can even close my eyes without feeling scared because I know you’re protecting me. Thanks to you, I’m not so scared of my electricity bills as well. You’re also the reason why I’m not afraid to ride my bike or simply take a walk outside my house after midnight because you’re always with me.

You’re dangerous but you’re the one who keeps me safe. You offer me the souls of those who harass and abuse me just like how you offered me the souls of those men who drugged me and took advantage of my body. They made me feel filthy and unworthy of love and respect but you make me feel as if I’m your goddess when you’re the one who’s supernatural. I may not see you when the sun is high up in the sky but I know you’re there. I only see you at night and it’s perfect. I’ve always loved the night and I started loving it more ever since you came in my life. Working all night seems a lot better because you’re there. You’re the last man I think of at night and when I drift off to sleep, it’s not so hard to dream.

People are not aware of what we share. Others say you’re dangerous and evil. They say you eat souls of little children, but I don’t mind their words. People may know who you are but they will never know who you are with me. You may be called a monster, but that doesn’t make you less of a man in my life. You are my secret lover. You love me and nothing else matters. I may be called insane but I’m all yours and I’d rather have you devour my soul instead of being separated from you and go through the suffering of being without you. I love you no matter what you really are and I wish to be with you for all eternity.

As I’m writing this, the sun is setting. The sunset is a beautiful sight, but with or without stars, there is nothing more beautiful than the night, and there is nothing more beautiful than our love. I love you, my tall, pale, and faceless, Slenderman, and I can’t wait to be with you tonight, and every night after.”

Okay so f yeah! I’m done!

We weren’t allowed to write our names on our papers, just our student number or class number, because what my professor does is he asks students from other sections, to read our work and comment on it. We also have no idea about the reader who commented on our papers.

“You’ve faced a lot of challenges especially the bigger ones but you should be thankful because you have your father that will protect you all the time. I’m fascinated by your story especially I’m a daddy’s girl. You’re lucky because you have a father that will always love and protect you. Ang pag-iimpok ay isang paraan upang makapag-ipon ng salapi. Importante ang pag-iimpok sapagkat sa pamamagitan ng matalinong pagsasagawa nito, mayroon kang maigagamit para sa kasalukuyan, hinaharap, at pati na rin sa kapwa. Maaari kang mag-impok sa iyong sariling alkansya o di kaya’y sa tulong ng mga bangko tulad na lamang ng Union Bank.

Ang Union Bank of the Philippines ay naging digital bank na. Sabi ng bagong Union Bank CEO na si Bautista na ang bangko ngayo’y umano’y binabantaan ng mga di-bangko. Ang mga di-bangko noon ay hinahamon ang mga banko kung pagbabatayan ang credit side. Ngayon, dahil sa teknolohiya, ang mga di-bangko ay umabante kung pagbabatayan ang payments franchise. Sa pamamagitan ng digital banking, nakasisigurado sila sa seguridad ng iyong pera, mas mabilis ang proseso, at epektibo. Sa pamamagitan din nito’y nakikipag-ugnay ang tao sa bangko sa pamamaraan ng makabagong teknolohiya.

Wika rin nila’y dahil sa sistemang ito’y hindi mo na kinakailangang pumunta pa ng banko upang makagawa ng transaksyon, kundi kahit pumunta ka nalang sa pinakamalapit na Automated Teller Machine o ATM, o ngayo’y gamitin ang iyong laptop, tablet, o cell phone ay maipapatupad na ang nais mong gawin kung ika’y tutungo sa isang branch ng bangko.

2. OPINYON O PANANAW

Para sa akin, malaking tulong ang digital banking sapagkat kung kinakailangan mo na ang iyong dinepositong salapi’y hindi mo na kailangang pumunta pa ng bangko at magsasagawa ng mahabang proseso. Sa pamamagitan ng ating teknolohiya, napapadali nito ang daloy ng buhay ng isang indibidwal partikular sa pag-iimpok at paggasta ng salapi.

Ang pag-iimpok sa bangko ay mahalaga sa buhay ng tao. Halimbawa na lamang nito ay kung kinakailangan mo ng salapi at wala kang sapat na halaga para sa kasalukuyan, maaari kang gumamit ng digital banking kung saan pwede mong bawasan ang iyong salapi naimpok ng iilang minuto lamang nang hindi na kinakailangang pumunta ng bangko.
