I love Veronica
I love Kevin
I think Varchie is a fun ship but if I have to pick I prefer them as friends to an actual couple.
I know that Kevin has been treated shitty in the last two seasons with his romantic partners but I would really like Moovin to get a chance before people shoot it down.
I didn't mind Joavin but like everything with Kevin it didn't get enough screen time and I was more interested in Joaquin's relationship with FP as a bad father figure.
I'm also aware that when Joaquin left it was made pretty clear that they cared deeply for one another.
HOWEVER everyone keeps bitching about this kiss in the next episode but I don't seem to hear anywhere the reality that Kevin has gotten over Joaquin or the possibility that Joaquin is over Kevin. Think about it he came back to help Fangs and saw Archie then and didn't even ask about Kevin. We've also never heard him say anything about Kevin since they've met up in juvie.
I also understand why some people are miffed about the kiss. It's irritating when a character you like, who already has such a small part is used to push the story of bigger characters forward but it's still moving their story along as well and the simple fact is if Archie and Joaquin stay together he'll get more screen time.
So I'm for the Archie x Joaquin kiss, whether it turns to Archie pushing him away and saying in no uncertain terms he's straight or it let's a new relationship blossom and gives us another CANNON bisexual character even better.
So Joaquin's kiss for me was not ascension in that dumb ass game it was a genuine apology because he cared for Archie. You can't change my mind (until next week I'm sure 😑 why do I keep watching?)
The queerbait was real, expected and still fucking pissed me off but Archie got out, he's still a bean of pure sunshine and I'm still shook by him flinging himself atop Joaquin to protect him from the rubber bullets.
So yup the Archquin is strong with me and I think this sums up my current mood
