Hello! This is an archival page for TikTok’s

TikTok’s are a short form content many people hate and dislike, I myself aren’t the biggest fan of the app but I feel like it’s filled with hidden gems of art, music and animations! I’ll try archiving as much as I can as I do believe even this short videos are worthy of more than a couple of seconds of attention on TikTok! ill post 10 videos everyday!

Now about myself, im Kiri and for the longest time I’ve tried my hardest to control my overwhelming fear of losing knowledge and for some reason the TikTok algorithm format of watching a video and forgetting about it as soon as you scroll caused me a lot of anxiety so here! This blog! I’m 20 years old and i go by she/they pleased to meet you!!!

So I need to find a way to organize this horrendous pile of notes I have from previous classes. They are disorganized, there is a lot I don’t need to keep, and some classes have very sparse notes that maybe could be filled out better. I need to study for the boards at the end of my program, so having something easy to reference may be useful. I was thinking of recopying everything into one cohesive place, filling the notes out with diagrams, etc. But that is a huge time commitment and I’m not sure I’m ready for that.

Does anyone have a method they like for keeping old notes? Or maybe something to do differently now that will make referring back easier? Should I just give up this idea, and keep the whole pile until my program is done? (Ugh but I really don’t want to...)

The Archiving Begins

This week Christina Beatty and Gibran Villalobos have started the archiving process.  They are currently on a mission to gather as much information available from individuals who have lived or are currently living in the Washington Park area.  Ranging from senior living homes, community centers, churches, and public art institutions, the archivists are looking for your stories.  They are setting up appointments and welcoming walk-in participants during open hours.

While my Tumblr/Blog theme is very Disney oriented, I am not completely Disney exclusive. Also, because of my extensive photo library that spills over my computer and external hard drives, I am going to be doing themed days of pictures as a matter of sharing, archival purposes and so on.

Basically, I need a safe place to put pictures I enjoy without having to keep them saved on my computer and such so they don't take up so much room. My hope is that this will also be an interest to all of you and that you'll find pictures and such that you enjoy.

I am going to be organizing the pictures in sets and themes. I want everyone to know that I do not claim to own any of the pictures I post and I am only uploading to share and save.
