I gave in and started working on a pattern. I'll probably wait until tomorrow to actually sew though.
In the meantime, I can show you guys my latest plushie masterpiece!
After deciding to make her a Luna(r?) moth instead of Rosy Maple, I looked to see what Amazon had for plushies, and... none of them were what I wanted for her. So, realizing I had roughly the right colors, I whipped up a pattern and made her myself. XD
She was easily my most ambitious (small scale) project, but it went smoothly and turned out super close to my initial sketch plans! So my plushie making ego is kinda swollen at the moment, Lol! We'll see how the next one goes. It should be MUCH simpler!

What's your guys' believe on the superstition against Absols being the cause of disasters? Personally I don't believe it, and understand they're essentially the messengers, but I'm curious about what you guys think?
It's a sad, dumb belief that people made up because Absols are kind enough to try and warn people when they get visions of disasters and people noticed the pattern. I haven't met a lot of Absols in my life, but I remember one time my old mentor found one injured and tried to help treat him. He said people from a town nearby had injured him because he'd seen a vision of a flood wiping them out.
He... ended up dying from his injuries... That was my first time seeing death. I don't know if that flood ever happened, but I kind of hope it did.
While not to the the point of wishing devastation on a town, I have to agree with Jamie. It's thankfully become more common knowledge that Absols don't cause the disasters, but cases still happen where they're hurt for their efforts. It's sad to think about.
