Really? *You chuckle, not sure how serious he was, but when you look up you can tell that he's legitimately concerned. Your laugh fades to a sigh & you look down. You try to keep a smile on your face, but you're really touched that he's willing to help. You know what a big commitment it is for him to help at all, given his lifestyle.* Thanks, Super, that...means a lot to me. *You look around the room and cough lightly to hide the lump in your throat, hoping he can't see the tears in your eyes.*
Your face twitches like you canβt decide what emotion to show, either the same concern or happy that she seems accepting of the idea of letting you help. Finally your eyebrows draw up and together and you smile a bit, reaching over to turn her face so she looked at you again.
SPN: I really wanβ you βo undersβand. β¨he lasβ βhing I wanβ is you alone in βhis and if βhere is anyβhing I can do I wanβ βo do iβ.

*You look into his eyes as he earnestly tells you how he feels and feel overwhelmed by gratitude. You open your mouth to say thank you again, but feel your throat tightening up to cry, so you close your mouth, look down, and swallow. When you look back up you still can't speak, so you throw your arms around him in a hug instead. You lean your face forward and breathe in the familiar smell from the shoulder of his shirt, feeling a couple of tears squeeze out. You breathe until your throat clears, then say in a hushed, shaky voice:*
Thank you so much, Super. Just... Thank you.
*You smile as you hold him, tears running out of your eyes as you stop yourself from sobbing. You're so grateful that you met such a nice guy. What are the odds? He didn't even know you were pregnant until you showed up and told him, and he's willing to offer you all the help you need. Part of you wishes it could really be his, but you push that thought down and focus on being glad of this moment.*
