What material do you use for your costume and where do you get it from?
Closed-cell EVA foam! You can find it in a lot of different sizes and thicknesses. Iâm specifically using interlocking floor mats I found at Loweâs for the main base of the head. âFoamiesâ, which you can buy at Michaelâs or similar craft stores, are the same material, but in thinner sheets which I use for surface details or less-bulky pieces. You can also find large rolls at various online outlets. This stuff is light, durable, easy to work with once you know how, and versatile enough that you can really make just about anything out of it.
Once youâve glued your foam pieces together (hot glue, superglue, or contact cement all work fine), youâre also gonna need a can or two of Plasti Dip, which you can pick up at Loweâs, Home Depot, Wal-MartâŚpretty much anywhere that has spray paint or automotive stuff. EVA foam doesnât take paint very well on its own; if itâs not sealed, itâll just soak the paint up and crack over time. A couple of coats of Plasti Dip on your assembled project before you paint helps keep this from happening.
For a more in-depth rundown of how to make costumes and props out of EVA foam, I highly recommend checking out Evil Ted Smith's Youtube channel. He covers pretty much everything you need that I havenât here, from tools to advanced techniques.
So....whats the verdict on FMA:B? I know what my answer for it already but as someone who just basically marathoned it I wanna know your final thoughts
itâs so fucking good fullmetal deserves all the popularity and hype itâs enjoyed over the years and i fully understand why people who watched this show during their formative years are still so fond of it, it was utterly completely good from start to finish
Unboxing some kickass figures from @arcanite-force. Thanks so much for everything!
Happy birthday! Here is a picture of two good Kamatas

Hey can you give me a brief rundown of what persona is? Cuz to my untrained eye it looks like the gist of it is "vigilante kids with stands"
honestly thatâs not entirely untrue especially talking about persona 4 and 5.
persona as a franchise is basically about teenagers saving the world with the power of friendship and the strength of their bonds and telling destiny or fate or whatever to go fuck itself.Â
persona 1 was about a demon invasion brought about by shithead adults and it being up to a ragtag group of shithead teens to fix it
persona 2 innocent sin is about an entity called joker distorting reality through rumors, essentially rumors become true and change reality, and a group of teens and a few young adults try to fix that big mess
persona 2 eternal punishment deals with the aftermath of innocent sin (and is the first game to feature a female protagonist and sheâs so far the single canon protagonist)
persona 3 is about a group of teens, a robot, and a dog working as a special team to fight in a secret hour that normal people cant experience to try to stop shadows from killing people and trying to understand the nature of the dark hour and the fate of humanityÂ
persona 4 is really where the vigilante theme comes in with a group of teens and a living fursuit trying to solve a string of impossible murders being done using a world inside tvs that only a select few can interact with
persona 5 is about a group of outcast teens and a talking cat entering the worlds of peoples hearts and stealing their distorted desires to force them to stop being just the worst fucking people on earth
@arcanite-force
So Kyuranger is good so far?
i cant really pass judgement when i havent met half the characters yet but episode 1 was good
