❝ hey taako? can you pass the chocolate chips over? i don’t think i but enough in these babies. ❞ lup asked, already holding her hand out, making a gimme gesture.
she had been feeling all too antsy for her liking-- barry had got called off on reaper duty with kravitz while she enjoyed a day of relaxation. technically they weren’t supposed to get off days as reapers, but since there were three of them now, they tended to trade off on days if they wanted to spend some time not collecting souls of necromancers or rogue ghosts. the feeling of being alone in her home didn’t use to be a problem for her, but now the loneliness made her skin crawl. she tried not to let it get the better of her, but today, it won out and she left the house in search of something to do.
lup ended up crashing taako’s under the guise of ‘ twin bonding ’ and said they were going to bake cookies, no questions about it; she went straight for the kitchen as soon as the door has been opened. she hoped taako wouldn’t see through her shit since it wasn’t technically a lie, but he was her twin. he could tell when she wasn’t feeling great like it was some sort of 6th sense-- it was the same with her.
the baking helped, though, as well as his presence. the tension in her shoulders had left the moment she saw him. the smile on her face was easy and relaxed as she waited expectantly for the chocolate chips.
