When Vi admitted she (somewhat) struggles with the last rule, she immediately receives not-so-subtle dirty looks from her fellow cowboys. You see, Vi stood out more than the others did. In more ways than one. For example—she’s a woman. Some of the folk round’ here didn't believe in cowgirls. Not that she blamed them, given their date of birth, but c’mon. She had the right to react to blatant hate crimes! S’not like she's squaring up with em’—it’s merely witt. Her words are less than what the average person would say. So they best give credits where it’s due.

Vi, also, is practically the only openly gay cowboy in her town. It's only inevitable that she had some troubles with the parents. She respected women. That part was easy. Same for her nations laws. And, well… she respected the parents of her ex situationships–for all it’s worth. But as she liked to say; “you get what you give.”

They wanna be passive aggressive? Two can play that game.

So, yeah. She had some things to work on. But this? Oh, man. She almost felt like she was bein’ set up.
