ARF Trooper Forest 🌲 Making a campfire isn’t necessary, but he is one of the remaining generation 1 clones and has been stationed on Kashyyyk, making campfires since the first day he has fought side aside with the Wookies.

Owl Squad from the 41st Elite Corps often have missions inmidst the ancient woods of Kashyyyk and other wilderness planets. Forest didn’t even ask the first time, when they all were freshly assigned to their first mission together. He got out of his boots and does what he always does. Neither his vode nor his Commander complained, so he silently enjoyed showing his younger vode that it’s the small things in life that count. Especially for clones, as the next day can always be their last day.

ARC Trooper Source ♟️ As Forest’s batch twin he considers himself lucky that they almost never got parted in their together history, despite different specialisations and application fields.

The more time passed, the more signs were, that maybe it wasn't just "luck". As common it is that clones idolize seasoned gen 1 clones, due to the brute realism all of them get taught for reasons, as special the nicknames are, their vode started to call them.

Source "the Sorcerer" – understandable, as doing complex data extraction and hacking looks like sorcery to younger vode. He would have chosen "No Bullshit" for himself though, claiming this with his no-bullshit face and his grumpiest voice, making everyone laugh.

Forest "the Shaman" – mostly because the long haired, silent clone was a natural with the Wookies, their culture and all the nature he kind of walked through like being born for it. But even more as things happen when he's around. Lucky circumstances. At some point it's somehow conspicuous.

As the twins mostly acted together, known to make things happen that not even Jedi can explain, they got the nickname "The Force Twins" ✨

My dearest Eobe, I finally made the time to draw one of the clone OCs from your amazing Owl Squad. I love how much character you put into them, and the lore you're creating around them. It's really inspiring <3 I had a hard time choosing between these five beautiful boys, but ended up drawing Source - with his serious stare. I might have added a Matrix background to fit more into the Source Code:

🎶 Heavy gunner and demolition expert Voice wanted to know and made some fatal mistakes due to excitement and needs a hug now 😹

💬 Medic Text was worried from the very start as he has to patch them up in cases. That isn't a horror shivering in the last panel, that is a "I'll beat his ass up!" shivering 😁

🌲 ARF trooper Forest is deeply relaxed as always and has his fun. Luckily (for Voice) the long hair diva isn't an actual diva at all about his hair!

I tried out airbrush coloring and a new lining brush. I kind of like it, but I find it almost too clean for my artstyle. If I go for this as comic style I need to finetune ☺️

Source is No. 1 grump, I wasn’t allowed to waste his time! No one is. Go get yourself a brain or kriff off 😭 Am I slightly intimidated by my own protagonist?

Maybe I just don’t find the courage to write at my half plotted fanfiction because he would break the 5th wall to just stare me so disappointed, so bare with me!!

Sketches ramble distraction before he gets too mighty! 😁

The upper sketches are completely free handed without a sketch layer beneath Proportions left the chat 🙀 I am actually improooooooving!!

The lower drawings I show you how I concept the most of my drawings. As you can see, it's kinda huge difference! Proportions are often embarrassed but don't leave completely anymore

Sketch layer: Impatient speed sketching escalation, trying to catch the proportions, angles and perspective before they leave the chat!

Sketch layer: Still impatient working out details and sharpening shapes

Clean lines layer: Turning to my favorite ink brush and doing outlining and then dopamining crosshatching the shades (maybe I shouldn't call that layer "clean")

Color layer: I put it beneath the lines layer and color with my fav water-color-y Oberon brush

When I restarted drawing I went for 99 % accuracy in proportions clinging to references, but it also took me hours that I had back then and don't have it anymore. But I also barely use references anymore, so my drawings might look more different to the animation style meanwhile and more like the daily form how accurate it comes out ✨

All in all I'm a proud lil drawing padawan looking at Source piercing all the beholder's souls ✨🤩

What happened before… <- 👀✨

Chaos Squad is fully released at the GAR Goth Night 🪭👀✨ But it seems to stress out some dutiful clone troopers in various ways! 😂😽 I‘m sure Source and Sixoh are very glad that event holographer Alpha-17 is somewhere else, busy dealing with a certain shiny. Even skilled Owl Squad would have a hard time avoiding an Alpha ARC veeeery determined to do a holoshot 😎

Source is known for being grumpy or unnerved, but vode gawking at his drunk and bare chested Commander is also for an ARC trooper quite stressful 😅

Mentioned Commander Eo is drunk and not really aware 😽🍹🫠 Oooh, she will be very aware when waking up after that night event 😁

Poor Sergeant Sixoh feels in charge and is a bit overstrained… for some more reasons 😂 Hey, clones never got trained for situations like this! 🤯🤷🏽‍♂️

I guess I have a thing for background jerks doing faces 🤩🤣

RL keeps me busy, but end is in sight 😱 I try to sketch at that shiny Alpha has to deal with, but also want to go with the flow ✨ Enjoy almost freed chaos meanwhile 🤪🫶 At least you also got another shirtless clone 😏😂
