I had the chance to sleep in this morning, which was nice. I'm up now, having my first coffee of the day, relaxing on the couch until work. I don't start until six and I'm closing the restaurant, so hopefully business is good and I make good cash. Yesterday was pretty much a bust.

Also, I'm missing Dragonette at the Wax tonight. I'm not a big fan, but I think it would be a good show to see and it would also be fun to see a bunch of friends who will be there. If you're able to hit downtown Kitchener tonight and see the show, do it!

We FINALLY have the internet hooked up at the new place. I just got home from my third interview at Crabby Joe's downtown, and I am pretty confident but still hoping so intensely that I get the job. Working in a call centre wouldn't be so bad, but I enjoy serving way more.

Heading back downtown to Civilian to help out in a couple of hours. KOI Fest starts this Friday night with a FREE concert featuring Ill Scarlet, Wayfarer, Fireworks, and more! Come out, and get your tickets for the rest of the weekend to see Silverstein, GOB, Set Anchors, Abandon All Ships, John K. Samson (the Weakerthans) and more awesome bands!

The Twin, Dancing With Paris, Liferuiner, a band, Intake of Glass, The Bosswich, Farewell to Freeway, Havenstance, Stray from the Path, The Snip, The Real Mackenzies, Teenage Kicks, Fall of Spring, The New Cities, Gracefield, Inside Riot, Stuck on Planet Earth, Kingdoms, Street Pharmacy, The Decay, Dead and Divine, Planet Smashers, and Protest the Hero.

My Farewell to Freeway shots didn't really work out though because the only light in the venue was from a window behind the band and my flash was haunted. It's also why my photos of The Twin aren't great this time around.

The singer from the Real Mackenzies seemed like a dirty drunken old man. :P

This haircut, the shaved on the sides, then slicked back, is hideous D: i mean, occasionally a dude can pull it off, but oh god, I saw more of that yesterday than the emo swoop. Guys with it everywhere, and pretty much half the bands i shot... Is this the new big hairstyle? I fucking hope not.

To finish with, a fun fact: I like listening to the music of whatever band i'm editing while i edit. ^___^
