James: It’s a beautiful night full of equally beautiful dates.

James: *smirks* Let’s pick out the constellations… 

Dorcas: – And it will be swift and terrible.

James: *plops down in front of Lily where she sits* Pay attention to me. 

Lily: *rolls her eyes and wraps James up in her coat* 

Marlene: *grins as she straddles Dorcas where she sits* Time to cash in on that promise.

Sirius: *gaze drifts, seeking out Remus* 

Erin: *fidgets, throwing sidelong glances at Sirius* 

Erin: *slips the gloves on, looking thoroughly put-out* 

Erin: *takes a deep breath and leans forward, lowering her voice* My lips are frozen.

Sirius: *taken aback* What do you mean?

Remus: *looks like he’s having a nice time as he and Mary sit close together, smiling and talking quietly*

Erin: *gestures to the other couple* Does your mate know you fancy his girlfriend? 

Erin: *sighs, looking bored and unimpressed* 

Erin: *pulls Sirius close, eyes glinting mischievously* It looks like you could use a little clarification. 

Erin: It’ll be an experiment! *glances past Sirius to Remus and Mary* *laughs loudly enough to draw everyone’s attention*

Erin: *pulls away and glances over to Remus and Mary, her brows knitting in confusion* Hm… 

Mary: *nods fervently* *turns to the group* 

*the rest of the group nods uncomfortably as Sirius and Erin continue to snog*

Remus: *hunches his shoulders and heads back to the castle*
