Home Sweet Home
Hi! My name is Lynn. It's been a while since I've had an account here but it still feels like home <3
I'm an artist who works mostly with physical mediums. Acrylic pours, oil paint, resin, wood, Perler, jewelry...it might be a shorter list of what I don't work with, actually. I like to combine materials and make interesting things.
While I'm working on setting up things to sell my own physical work, I've started a Redbubble shop to sell prints of my paint pours and a few rare photography pieces.
ArtisticLynnsanity is an independent artist creating amazing designs for great products such as t-shirts, stickers, posters, and phone cases
I also have a Ko-Fi

[ID: a watercolour and ink painting of the sky at evening, with a telephone pole and wires silhouetted against it. The sky is a gradient of dark blue, fading to pale pink at the horizon. The silhouettes of tree tops show in the bottom corners, and a crescent moon hangs in the sky. End ID.]

ANCIENT STONE
(Based on my November prompts)
Moss embroiders a soft shroud,
A wedding dress for the stone's marriage
To time immemorial,
And a spider wanders silently
To drink from the dew that dots the green
Like pearls in a diadem-
A god lived here once,
The stone
Was the basis of a column,
Or maybe of an altar,
The bedrock of sky-reaching worship,
A faint memory of acanthus leaves
Peeking through the green.
An oracle whispered enigmas
In the alcove that faced North,
And the cicadas carry her prophecy
Into a world that has almost forgotten
How to hope.
The priests asked for gold and blood,
The priests asked for blind faith,
And the stone remembers a peasant girl
Carrying a basket of figs to the god of storms
So that he may spare
Her family's fields.
Now that god is forgotten,
And the stone is cleaved in two,
The spider's cobweb
A bridge between jagged halves,
A bridge between present and past.
The stone holds up
A stormy sky.
A fig tree
Grows nearby.
