Kind of wanted to try and alternate designs for them
“With you, my dear, I’m safeÂ
and we’re a million miles away” x
an arafef drawing for aradia-feferi since they are so nice and the bESTÂ
AUTHOR: frogeity CAST: Feferi/Aradia; Condesce, Eridan, Terezi, Karkat RATING: T WORD COUNT: 6009 ADDITIONAL TAGS: death, violence, revolution, created for ladystuck 2012 SUMMARY: There were twelve heiresses before you, and when you were five Eridan told you she used their bones to build her throne. Failures didn't deserve a legacy. You will not be a failure. EXCERPT: So you can't get rid of the throne. You can't get rid of the trident, either; it's ceremonial, symbolic, you took it from her cold dead hands and it marks you as her successor where none of your twelve predecessors could succeed. They fought her fair, and you didn't, and that's why you won. No one could ever fight her fairly and win. No one could afford for another heiress to fight her fairly and fail, and you had one advantage that no one before you had ever had. When push came to shove, Gl'bgolyb had sided with you, and the scales had tipped in your favor. It's not the way you pictured it. And you had been picturing it for a long time! You knew you would be the one to bring her down sure as you knew how to breathe, no matter how hard it was going to be, and it was going to be pretty freaking hard. You didn't need Eridan to tell you that, but he did so at least once a sweep, just to make sure you remembered it, turning to you with his face for once serious and mature and lacking the perpetual expression he was starting to get that the whole world smelled of dung, and he'd say- "This is gonna be hard as shit, Fef, if you're sure-" and every time you'd pat his shoulder and so "Shore I'm sure, somebody's got to do it" and that somebody was you. rec'd by diatorre
AUTHOR: sunsmasher CAST: Aradia/Feferi; Vriska RATING: T WORD COUNT: 2635 ADDITIONAL TAGS: illustrated, Beforus, blood, time travel, created for ladystuck 2013 SUMMARY: “I’m a time traveler!” Aradia shrieks, throwing her hands in the air. She adds, on thought, “And probably immortal, too!” EXCERPT: The artifact shows three figures carved in stone. The first is painted violet, like the princes and their banners, and the second is teal, color faded and barely-there after so many thousands of years inside the buried temple. The third figure is rust, ornamented in gold, weapon dripping violet, boots stained teal, and it’s the only figure standing. When the cool-blooded hands holding the artifact smash it full against the wall, making dust of the figures of the redblood’s triumph, Aradia screams. “What are you doing?” she shrieks, lunging forward against the guards’ grip. “That was history, that was priceless!” The tealblood across the table, carefully dusting her hands of archaeology, smiles. “Don’t be silly, Ms. Megido,” the tealblood chides, gesturing to one of the orangeblood guards to fetch a broom. “What you found was obviously the work of some local delinquents, don’t you think? Those pressurized pigment cylinders have been getting so popular with the kids, and they’re so talented, I’m not surprised you were confused.” rec'd by liasangria

AUTHOR: tanglelore CAST: Aradia♥Feferi RATING: T WORD COUNT: 1375 ADDITIONAL TAGS: no SGRUB AU, sadstuck, created for ladystuck 2013 SUMMARY: Feferi is within blinking distance of immortal and sometimes fails to notice that others aren't. EXCERPT: She had all the time in the world. No age could touch her, the blood in her veins flowing cold and bright and eternal. She wondered, just once, how old her imperial predecessor had been when she died. No one cared or knew, save possibly their shared lusus, and Gl’bgolyb wasn’t telling. She was too young, just a few sweeps at her ascension, to think seriously of such things. She was the Empress, no other title necessary, and she let her hair grow wild and long because Aradia liked to braid it with twigs and seashells and the bones of long dead things. rec'd by diatorre

SUMMARY: “I’m a time traveler!” Aradia shrieks, throwing her hands in the air. She adds, on thought, “And probably immortal, too!”
The blueblood pauses for a moment in describing the sheer sexual belligerence of her fuckorgans to stare.
EXCERPT: The artifact shows three figures carved in stone.
“That was history, that was priceless!”
The tealblood across the table, carefully dusting her hands of archaeology, smiles. “Don’t be silly, Ms. Megido,” the tealblood chides, gesturing to one of the orangeblood guards to fetch a broom. “What you found was obviously the work of some local delinquents, don’t you think? Those pressurized pigment cylinders have been getting so popular with the kids, and they’re so talented, I’m not surprised you were confused.”
Aradia could spit, she could breathe fire, and she wrenches an arm forward before the orangebloods snap her shoulders back against the chair. “That was thousands of years old!” she snarls, fury and honest, angry confusion pulling at her features. “It was buried behind a cave-in, I worked for years to excavate it, and you’re telling me it’s graffiti?”
The tealblood smiles, pacific and pacifying, and rests her hands on the table, one on top of the other. “Kids these days,” she laughs, one smooth shoulder lifting in the suggestion of a shrug. “They do get everywhere!”

AUTHOR: gazetteAuteur CAST: Aradia/Feferi RATING: G WORD COUNT: 2343 ADDITIONAL TAGS: created for ladystuck 2011 SUMMARY: Trying to translate a particularly troublesome ruin, Aradia gets help from a friend. EXCERPT: Some hours later you wake up in the early evening, still slightly exhausted but at least able to coherently make out the map that Feferi had sent you. Checking Trollian to thank her you notice that she is offline, though due to the time of day it was a long shot anyway. With a few hours to go until it will be remotely safe enough to make the six hour trek, you gather your important archeological tools, a satchel of supplies, the dirty old hat you found in a crater and your trusty whip. You pace and wait until you can no longer see any signs of the vicious fauna that often lurk around your hive before leaving. rec'd by diatorre
