Trotide, Aquine, and Dracolt are some fanmons I’ve been working on for a while! They’re supposed to be speedy, high attack and special attacker pseudo-legendaries. Its hidden ability, Draconize, is the name I’ve given to my Dragon-type equivalent to abilities like Aerilate/Refrigerate/Pixelate/Galvanize/etc.
Trotide
Water Type The Hippocampus Pokemon Abilities: Storm Drain: Draws in all Water-type moves. Instead of being hit by Water-type moves, it boosts its Sp. Atk. Torrent: Powers up Water-type moves when the Pokémon's HP is low. Hidden Ability: Draconize: Normal type moves become Dragon type moves. The power of those moves is boosted a little. Entry One: Trotide are often born in warm tidepools, as they have scarce swimming abilities when they are that young. However, their penchant for running develops very fast. It’s said that Arceus created it out of the ocean’s bubbling seafoam waves. Entry Two: The bray of Trotide is uncharacteristically quiet when compared to the cries of other equine Pokemon. It sounds like a soft, low rumble, akin to the ocean waves crashing on a beach. Many people find comfort in this.
Aquine (evolves from Trotide at lvl. 28)
Entry One: While having significantly more developed swimming abilities than their previous form, Aquine often live in shallow, temperate waters near where they were born. However, it’s become increasingly common to see them farther and farther out to shore as erosion has worn away their nesting grounds. Entry Two: Aquine often spend long days lounging in the sun on flat rocks, braying out bubbles and playfully splashing its herdmates. Even from on these rocks, they are able to leap a considerable distance in the air and gracefully dive back into the ocean. It seems to do this solely to show off to its friends.
Dracolt (evolves from Aquine at lvl. 50)
Water/Dragon Type The Hippocampus Pokemon Abilities: Storm Drain: Draws in all Water-type moves. Instead of being hit by Water-type moves, it boosts its Sp. Atk. Torrent: Powers up Water-type moves when the Pokémon's HP is low. Hidden Ability: Draconize: Normal type moves become Dragon type moves. The power of those moves is boosted a little. Entry One: It’s said that Dracolt were used as seafaring steeds in ancient times because of their speed, strength, and loyalty. According to legend, a single Dracolt once towed a large, sinking ship to shore in less than ten minutes. Entry Two: Swimming at high speeds through the ocean, its cry sounds like a crack of thunder in a hurricane. It’s been observed traveling faster than the speed of sound in controlled environments.
