Familiar Flowers
Fandom: Kingdom Hearts Chapter: 1/1 Word count: 2,821 Summary: Even often had to go looking for Ienzo when he was a boy. Ienzo is not sure how to handle looking for Even in turn. Written for @apprenticeweek !! Day 1: Flowers --------------------------------------------- “Ienzo! Where are you?”
Perched on the edge of a decorative stone in a corner of the gardens, his too-big lab coat folded beneath him, Ienzo looked up at the sound of his name. He waited a moment, weighing the merits of answering or staying silent, and then looked back down at the book balanced on his knees and turned the page. Even’s voice was still far off, and the camellia bushes at his back hid him quite well, particularly from any adult who might be intending to have him run through another round of mathematics drills. Apprentice Week Day 1: Flowers||Fountain
@apprenticeweek
It was a rainy day when he said goodbye. It was a few days after the fabled Keyblade War and a solitary gold eye was observing the happenings in Radiant Gardens before he moved onto the next phase of his task. He felt his heart clench at the sight of his fellow guards eagerly welcoming a newbie into the fold, taking his place and started to wonder if all of this was worth it.
Was he truly Braig back then or was it Luxu the whole time? Did Braig even have a personality or was it all a sham? He closed his eyes and when he opened then, he was hunched over a fountain, the very same fountain he fell into while trying to master his gravity powers for the first time and let out a humorless laugh. Oh how times were simple back then. Back before this nonsense with Hearts and talks of Keyblade Wars.
Xigbar slowly got to his feet and looked at the place he once called home, having no one else. He kept telling himself it would do no good to get attached because eventually he was going to leave it behind anyway, but he listened to his heart-such fickle things- and slowly grown to care for his fellow apprentices. He closed his eye again and placed a hand over his heart as darkness swirled around him. “May my heart be my guiding key.”
Super late day 1 of apprentice week!! Have some speedy doodles because it’s already past my bedtime and I’ll die tomorrow asafdsfsd
Anyway since I’ve explained Marian’s name before I’m gonna talk about her nickname:
Asra first heard this nickname when they just getting acquainted, used by her aunt to beckon her. He started calling her Meimei after they grew more close, and still uses it to this day.
Although Asra thought the nickname Meimei(梅梅) was derived from her full name(Wen Ruo-Mei), it actually means “younger sister(妹妹)” literally, but is used as a term of endearment when referring to a little girl/young woman in this context.
So all in all it’s a cute misunderstanding and Mari didn’t bother to explain and just keeps it that way~
Apprentice Week
4/16 | Magic
Eve is advanced when it comes to creating illusions, as he can use them to his advantage, whether it be to help someone or to use it against them.
Xaya specialises in water and healing magic. His hands can bend the water with ease, as it comes naturally to him. When he heals, the wounded flesh begins to glow. On his forehead a mark appears, signifying that his magic is in use.
Payna's magic is more on the hostile side, as he can produce fire and bend it to his will. Though he mostly hides his tattoos, they glow when he casts magic.

The Apprentice and Portia: Help?
Julian: Drama :)
The Apprentice and Portia: No seriously you need help and we want to help you
Julian: Dra :) ma :)
*quietly slides this forward*
So I hear it’s Apprentice Week for the Arcana, and I’m jumping in (despite missing the past three days). Day 4 is animals, so I drew my two with their favorites
Conrad doesn’t care if Melchior or Mercedes bites off her fingers, she’s still going to play nice. Damien would pet every animal in Vesuvia if he could and holds no grudge against the vampire eel that almost killed him.

MAGIC: What kind of magic are they specialized in?
I literally always get inspired AN HOUR before I head to work. I’m so stupid. It’s a fast doodle.
“Both Apprentices served an apprenticeship under a master Magician named Lyall - who was known for their skill and innovation, proclaimed to be a tinkerer and enchanter. Lyall was involved in the creation of the late Count’s magic powered prosthetic.”
“Áine Braudel - with no lack of natural talent, found she had a flair for enchanting, completing most of her apprenticeship faster than anticipated.”
(she also left early but that is another story)
“Áine’s house is full of enchanted items, from furniture to jewellery. It’s not surprising to see what should be an inanimate object having a life of its own in her presence.”
“Her primary skill is light based magic, usually for illumination and purification, sometimes, even healing. But during her apprentice days, she found a way to use it offensively. Orbs of light keep her company at night, floating and swirling at the wave of a finger.”
