This was one of the things @poetic-emptiness-fanfic asked for , and seeing that this one is a bit longer to explain , i bring to you

Agrippa and Julian ; disaster friends for life

Now the first thing that i need to explain is that in my fantasy mind/world i have 2 timelines. The canon game one and the one i created where all of it happens at ones aka the main 6 and the mc defeat the devil together , save the realms and THEN the romancing starts. Idk blame my demi ass but i need aloooot of time to actually fall in love and that reflects onto my apprentice (self insert who ?)

So in the game/canon i think we all know how it would go.

In my timeline tho, agrippa sees Julian as a friend and an interesting one at that. He is so expressive in his emotions and his flamboyant manner about life. As someone who who doesn't understand emotions that well and tries to comprehend what it feels like to be human, seeing the passion he puts into things, They are ready to 100% match up his enthusiasm for adventure and new things. Talking about grand adventures on sea , getting rowdy and into trouble and have each others back. Ippa wants to learn and explore as much as they can about this world that they, in their eyes, only lived in for 3 years and Julian is more than happy to teach them

They do however clash on some parts on their personalities. Agrippa can't understand his willingness of selfsacrifies, his dedication to his own sadness ,that isn't logical at all

"why would you think offering yourself up will make things better, the only thing it does is cementing the fact that one of us will already be lost. How can you think leaving the ones who care for you will make it "better for them"? , make them happy?"

Agrippa tries to understand things with rational thinking but emotions and in most cases julian himself are just not the most rational thing.

It's also a bit awkward sometimes when you are hopelessly in love with your best friends sister ^^'

1. Which character(s) is your apprentice romancing? What attracts your apprentice to them?

Before she lost her memory it's Asra 🦊. Currently it's Muriel 🐻.

🦊 She was a lot more rebellious before, so Asra's mischievous and curious tendencies is what she likes the most. She likes how Asra always bring something interesting in her blant daily life.

🐻 Now she's more naive but still has her big curiosity. At first she just wants to help, but as soon as Muriel starts to open up and they have awkward moments together, she wants to know more abt him. She loves the way that he's a gentle giant and has no intention to harm anybody, despite the things that happened to him. She feels like he pushes her to be a better person, and awaken her compassion in helping others. After that her mission is to help Muriel to be more comfortable with himself.

🔮- what song describes their magic the best?  I thought about what to put here, cause I’m really not sure o.O But after lots of thought, I decided to put the music that’s used in the ambience for her gate :3 “Arcadia” by Kevin MacLeod Eira’s gate, if you’re interested. :3

😎- what is their theme song? Pre-resurrection, her theme song would be “Speechless” by Naomi Scott from the live action Aladdin movie, though I believe “Once Upon A December” from Anastasia would be an appropriate post-resurrection theme for her.

😍- what is their LI’s theme song? So the brain cell is tired and I’m not sure whether to read this as “what’s (Asra’s or Julian’s) general theme song” or “what’s a theme specifically for them and your OC,” so I’m gonna put both options xD

Oh!!! Thank you for the ask! One of my apprentice does lightning magic by redirecting static electricity, well another one weaves magic into jewelry!

My inspiration to create my apprentices was seeing all the wonderful ones everyone's created and for the actual apprentices its mainly different parts of myself/people i admire! Like Aurora(my apprentice for Julian's route) is inspired by Jenna Marbles!

Well, she's a self insert, so most of the inspo came from the one person I know best- Me. I picked some of the weird stuff about me (makes candles, obsessed with fire) and stuck it all onto someone that looks like me.

I really want to develop her more, though, and make her more of her own person, rather than just a facet of my personality.

3. What's a secret passion of theirs? Pickpocketing and card tricks. Not for the reasons you think, though. He uses it to start a conversation with someone; mostly women. You’d be surprised how well “Oh, ma’am, you dropped this” works. ;) Similarly, card tricks are a sure way to get the attention of others.

13. What's the most memorable compliment they've ever been given? ”You know, for a filthy swashbuckler, you’re a damn good kisser. You clean up surprisingly well, too.” - Arabella; a duchess he romanced. Coming from her, it was a huge compliment. He still wears the ring he only briefly got to give her on a chain around his neck.

23. Do they like having their hair played with? Oh absolutely!

2. If your apprentice was a romancable character in The Arcana, what would their route be like? (Feel free to be as detailed or vague as you’d like.)

I’ll just assume that we’ll use the main plot of the game’s story. I think Taelsin’s in part is mostly about trust & being in control, kinda like Muriel, he would have a slow time in trusting MC. His whole life has been dependent on himself only, he likes doing things according to plan & go his way.

5. What are some of your apprentice’s minor and major fears? What’s the best way to comfort them?

Drowning is one of his fears, part of it is because he can’t swim and had been abandoned that way (so he doesn’t like it when Asra sent him through his gate lmao). Another one is not being in control, he doesn’t realized this but his magic is centralised in emotions. When everything is going downhill & he panics? Magic stuff goes haywire (dark magic is just part of his charm~)

The way to comfort him is to just let him be for a while, he’ll come find you for comfort.

10. What’s the first thing someone is likely to notice about your apprentice when meeting them for the first time? Do they have any other quirks that set them apart?

He has a sort of resting bitch face & a cold demeanour, he also has a warm tone of voice too!

11. How does your apprentice act when meeting new people? Are they outgoing, shy, awkward, aloof? Do they like being the center of attention?

Taelsin just keeps his cool demeanour, he’s not a man of words either when you first meet/work together with him. If he does warm up to you, you’d besurorires that he can be talkative!
