These adorable DIY Apple Cake Pops are a sweet and whimsical treat for any occasion. With the delicious flavor of apple cake and a festive candy coating, they make for a delightful centerpiece display at your next party.
Ingredients: 2 cups of cake crumbs from your favorite apple-flavored cake. 1/2 cup of cream cheese frosting. 2 cups of green candy melts. 1 cup of red candy melts. Green and red sprinkles for decoration. Lollipop sticks.
Instructions: Cream cheese frosting and cake crumbs should be combined in a big bowl. Blend until thoroughly blended. Form the mixture into tiny balls the shape of apples and arrange them on a baking sheet that has been lined. After sticking a lollipop stick into each cake ball, chill them for half an hour. As directed on the package, melt the green candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl. Make sure every cake pop is completely covered by dipping it into the melted green candy melts. Let the excess fall off. Reposition the coated cake pops onto the baking sheet that has been lined, then chill for an additional fifteen minutes. To create the red skin of an apple, melt the red candy melts in a different bowl and dip or drizzle it over the top of each cake pop. For extra decoration, add red and green sprinkles to the red candy coating while it's still wet. Put the cake pops in the refrigerator to solidify the candy coating. Present the homemade apple cake pops as a festive centrepiece to create a pretty dessert display.
