APPE Schedule
My upcoming APPE Schedule is FINALLY complete...one week before my first APPE starts
Without disclosing my school (half of my rotations are with professors and where they work gives away where I go to school), I wanted my friends and followers to have an idea of the rotations I'll be doing this year. As always, feel free to send questions/encouragement/etc. :-)
August 11-September 19: Advanced Institutional (PA)
September 22-October 31: Managed Care (OH)
November 10-December 19: Public Health (PA)
January 5-February 13: Ambulatory Care Institutional (PA)
February 23-April 3: Inpatient/Acute Care Institutional (PA)
April 6-May 15: Advanced Community (Rite Aid-PA)
GRADUATION: May 31, 2015 (YAY!!!!!!!!)
FYI: my school has required APPE rotation categories so although my schedule implies I want to be a clinical pharmacist or work in a hospital, I actually want to work in retail. Community, Institutional, Inpatient/Acute Care and Ambulatory Care are all required so although I'm not really interested in most of them, I am going to all of the rotations with an open mind.
Since I've decided NOT to do residency, I'm VERY excited for this year to be my last year of pharmacy school and hopefully I kick some serious ass on each rotation :-)
