I am soo into the drops app during my commute right now

I paid for it so I don't have any usage limits. Its so aethetically pleasing and chill. So perfect for decompressing and moving work<-->home modes ☺️

So, I’m a dork. I totally downloaded this app to my phone. Lovestruck, and it’s a reading, anima style romance stories. I was originally, “hey a great place for ideas,” then... then I started getting into it. And in like three days I’ve gone through an entire 5 seasons (12 episodes each season) of one character and I’m on the next one and.... OMFG I WANT MORE!!!! It’s so good, and pure and wonderful and I CANNOT GET ENOUGH!!!! 

I’m currently reading: Love & Legends, I finished August Falke’s romance up to the last one.. OMG MORE! And now I am soooo in love with Saerys!!!! Ugh, I’m gushing and dying... and I cannot wait the 2h15mins for the next ticket for the next episode... I have set a TIMER!! I’m THIRSTY!!!!

So.... long story short, if you like romance, if you like apps, if you want a distraction/muse for writing: Lovestruck is it! It’s wonderfully written, the flow is so damn good, and you will be left wanting MORE!!

Essential Anatomy 5 is a great study tool that gives you a 3D view of the human body in its 360 degree glory. This app allows you to turn on and off each body system (including layers of muscles) and isolate or hide individual structures.

EA5 is extremely helpful in allowing you visualise the content learned in anatomy lectures, as well as for preparing for upcoming dissections or exams.

Quiz mode allows you to test your recognition of structures by system in both multiple choice and drag-and-drop modes. As you can choose to be tested on structures in a certain limb, I found this very helpful in learning the anatomy of the upper and lower limbs when covering this in first year.

Clicking on a structure brings up its name and other information about it - you can also use this feature to test yourself.

Price: $30.99 AUD (but you can snag it for cheaper when it goes on sale)

The same company creates various versions of this app, both cheaper and more expensive - these might be worth checking out if you’re interested!

So I’ve finally got back into seriously writing - like every day this week so far and I wanted to recommend an app (that was first recommended to me by @raymurata Thank You!) 

FocusWriter - “A distraction-free writing environment”

It’s crazy that something as simple as a fullscreen document program is enough to suddenly motivate me and keep me writing every day... but it works! I don’t look up and idly click between all the browser tabs I have open. I can choose a background that sets the ambiance, the mood, whatever inspiration I’m looking for. All the menus, you can access by bringing your mouse to the edge of the screen and you can even set timers or daily word goals!

And the best part? Typewriter sounds. Wait no, it’s free. That’s the best part.  But let’s be honest, turning on the typewriter sounds makes every letter so much more satisfying.

...but mostly I like that you can talk to it

If you hit the little mic in the search bar, you can try speaking the word you want to look up instead of typing it

Then see if your accent is good enough for Google to understand you! 😂
