                  It was just a hunting trip. That’s what he had told Jacob. It took hours of convincing, but Ashley had persuaded the ruthless leader that Nuri needed his first thrill of the kill to really kick things off. But, he’d need a supervisor. The most trusted man in Jacob’s flock : Ashley de Beaufou. And so Ashley led Nuri, hands still cuffed ( a safety precaution, though not one that was actually needed ; anyone who thought it was a good idea to attack the Demon of Eden’s Gate was foolish ) and gun pointed at his back. 

                  In this position, they continued. It was fifteen minutes, maybe thirty, before Ashley had ushered them into a cave. Quiet, and a deer lay recently deceased in the corner. It had only been dead an hour or so. Turning to face Nuri, he grabbed his wrists with a tenderness not expected by someone with Ashley’s reputation. Thumb ran over the swelling skin around the too-tight cuffs. “ I didn’t realize how tight Jacob had made these. ”  

this place with its snow covered floors, the piano that he can get lost in, even the fellow android at his feet should all help ease the wires that are firing on full speed within him. a pure imitation of what it must be like for humans and their anxiety. markus gazes out into the open with wide mismatched eyes, wondering if he’s meant to be the leader. is THIS who he was supposed to be? 

he speaks before his computer can fully comprehend what he’s thinking and that too is sometimes still foreign. markus has always been calculating every possible result and consequence to every possible scenario. now this is a new one. WORRY. 

Faith hadn’t been told much when she came looking she just knew that she had to come to Hope County. Things were getting worse and she needed to try to help her siblings get out of whatever this mess was. Blending in was harder than she had expected it to be trying to hear what she could while not seeming like someone who was just looking. She wanted to know exactly what she was getting into before she decides how she’ll go about this.

Still, she hears this man speaking about her brother and she can’t help it. “You mean Paul Seed don’t you?” She asks interrupting the man’s conversation. “I didn’t mean to eavesdrop I was actually looking for him he seems to be harder to find than I thought he would be. I’m a- friend.” That was a horrible lie. “I came to town to surprise him.”

I really want to explore the early days of Eden's gate inside Hope County. when they were still welcome to as a peaceful church. When the people didn't see Joseph as some evil thing.
