That's the end of season 5! Wow can't believe two arcs were animated over 2 years after 7 years of nothing lmao and even got a preview for the next arc again. Which is Blue Cult and that just so insane to say omfg like Blue Cult just felt so far away from even being considered giving an adaptation but here we are.

I was thinking about Cloudia and Vincent. Vincent was 15 years old when Cloudia died but he must've already been enrolled in Weston. So Cloudia died when he was at Weston approximately his second or third year and the bits we see him as a prefect he already knew he would leave to presumably take his place as the Earl. Wanting Deidrich as an ally was definitely in regards to that in hindsight.

Ahh, I didn't really connect the dots in the manga but the anime made it very clear Ciel having the tonic forced down his throat with the funnel is what triggered his flashbacks reminding him that's how he used to be fed starting his downward spiral and regression. It's always the small things...
