#apollo facts

This is on his reference sheet, but I'm gonna add on a little bit to it:

-Apollo's favorite food is haggis

-Moss's demon is nonbinary, and when he's in his demon form, he goes by he/they pronouns

-Speaking of Moss and his demon, even though I've portrayed his demon form as feral most of the time, they're actually pretty tame(?) most of the time, and more acts like Edward Hyde. I didn't realize until way after I made Moss that he's kind of modeled after Jekyll and Hyde lmao

-When Beans was learning his time magic in his younger years (the way he can make himself and others perceive time slower or faster than it really is), he messed up and made himself perceive time faster and couldn't figure out how to fix it until years later. He had to experiment a lot with this type of magic since it was never properly taught or recorded. So he never really got to experience a childhood and currently has the mentality of a 14-15 year old when he's actually 20

-Fletcher is bilingual; he speaks (in actual languages, but they're called something else in the comic because these countries don't actually exist in their world) English and Welsh. Welsh would be his native language, as his mom spoke it fluently to him as a young child, but grew up where English was spoken

That's all the random facts I can tell y'all without spoiling stuff from the comic. Trust me, I have more random facts I wanna tell y'all, but they're all secrets for the end of Arc 1 or Arc 2

Speaking of spoilers, I feel like teasing y'all with what I do want to share but can't, so here's what's to come out of context:

“What is/was your character’s relationship with their mother like?”

OHOHOOHOHOHOHOHOHO I am not kidding you, I was thinking about this relationship the ENTIRE time I was at work. Hopefully what I’m gonna infodump makes sense because I am sleep deprived at the moment

So his relationship with his mother was pretty good, despite what you would think (with his dad being an ASS). He actually got a lot of his personality from his mother, though she was more strict with her caring-ness. For example, she would be the “normal” leodin around others that she didn’t know very well, but around Apollo, she would be very nurturing. She was essentially the only thing keeping Apollo safe from the other leodins (she was VERY protective of her baby) and keeping him sane. She constantly tried to get Apollo’s dad to see that him being “soft” wasn’t a weakness, but he wouldn’t have it. Unfortunately, she died from an illness she had been battling. She died in Apollo’s arms, and it completely tore him to SHREDS. He loved his mom more than anything, considering she was the only other leodin that truly understood him. Thinking about it now, that’s probably what drew him into Fletcher; Fletch often gives him the nurturing attention that he got from his mom.
