3. list your fandoms and one character from each that you identify with.
I just went with big ones who I could actually think of people for
Assassin's Creed- Ezio Auditore. Charismatic and friendly, but also can be a dick without realizing it. It's not until later in life that he realizes how much he really has. "When I was a young man, I had liberty, but I did not see it. I had time, but I did not know it. And I had love, but I did not feel it. Many decades would pass before I understood the meaning of all three."
M*A*S*H- Benjmin "Hawkeye" Pierce. The practical joker with a strong moral compass and the passion to back it up. "That does it, when this war is over I'm going home."
In the Flesh- Amy Dyer. Eccentric, spontaneous and loyal best friend. "You're my BDFF- Best Dead Friend Forever!"
Dragon Age + Mass Effect- Varric + Garrus. The best friends and story tellers; there to back you up and make you look good. "You must have me confused with someone else! I'm just a businessman and a storyteller."/"Forgive the insubordination, but this old friend has an order for you. Go out there and give them hell. You were born to do this."
15. five most influential books over your lifetime
The entire Harry Potter series. Honestly, they shaped so much of who I am and my morals.
The Percy Jackson series. My sense of humor and love for mythology definitely had strong roots here.
Good Omens. I learn something new every single time I read that goddamn book.
Un Lun Dun. There was nothing that set my imagination on fire quite like that book. I was terrified, I was amazed, and I was enthralled by it.
A Series of Unfortunate Events. It gave me a love for mystery and the macabre. And above all it gave me hope in sub-par situations, because "there's always something".
24. have you ever felt like you had a “mind-meld” with someone?
I suppose? I've had ideas that coincide with other people's ideas and sometimes my friends and I will act in tangent without thinking about it.
29. three songs that you connect with right now.
this is kinda hard cause most of the songs i connect with right now are for fandom related reasons
YOUNG MAN IN AMERICA- ANAIS MITCHELL
Bushwick Blues- Delta Spirit
Living Room Song- The Wonder Years (shout out to my main man sadie because this was on her mix for me)
30. pick one of your favorite quotes.
Doesn’t matter what the press says. Doesn’t matter what the politicians or the mobs say. Doesn’t matter if the whole country decides that something wrong is something right. This nation was founded on one principle above all else: the requirement that we stand up for what we believe, no matter the odds or the consequences. When the mob and the press and the whole world tell you to move, your job is to plant yourself like a tree beside the river of truth, and tell the whole world — "No, you move.” (Captain America)
