📚 📖 Review Time 📖 📚 . . T: A Piece of Cake . . A: Cupcake Brown . . . . Death, abandonment, abuse, drugs and healing, the story of Cupcake’s life. Cupcake’s life was a whirlwind of tragedies. From the beginning I felt for this girl, I cried as she cried. I cried at the moments where I felt like Cupcake was suppose to cry but her strength wouldn’t allow her to shed those tears. For her to go through some much trauma at such a young tender age with no break in between had me in awe with her strength. Her childhood traumas and abandonment forced her to be an adult at an early age and pushed her into the streets where drugs and alcohol became her vice. Being misguided at every turn, lead her a life of many hardships she even contemplated suicide many times to escape her unbearable life but in the most outrageous ways, she still push through. On the road to recovery and healing, I was so here for it! Cupcake had been through enough turmoil and I was so happy when her life started to take a turn for the better. It’s definitely something she needed. I just wanted to hug my girl (yes I said my girl we friends after I read all this trauma) through out the whole book. This is such a good read, I do have to put a warming label on this memoir, enter at your own risk. TRIGGER ALEART. . .
