Okay, so the hands represents Matt's (Api's géniteur) manipulation and his emprise on others. It's also used in parallel for Santana's paranoia about the original Queen, but it's not shown much in this volume. But THE WAY THE HANDS FIRST SURROUNDS API COMPLETELY WHEN THEY MEET AGAIN AFTER SO LONG?! And when she understands that there really is no way of getting out of this (cause the guy went as far as DATE HER BOSS to get to Api), Api finally stands up to her géniteur and it's symbolized by her stepping on the hand???? I LOVE MON VOEU LE PLUS SINCÈRE IT'S SO GOOD. Oh, and Api being in a symbolic bear trap when she realizes her géniteur is dating her boss??? Gosh I love the visuals pf this story guys, it's so good!!!
