It's a neat ship. I'm not a big fan of it but I don't dislike it either, and there is some AWESOME art of it from @ask-gorillaz.
It isn't canon in this AU. The only relationships in the band are Russel ♦ Stuart and Murdoc ♣ Stuart via Noodle. If Ace ever gets involved in this AU, Stuart ♥♠ Ace might get canonised.
How does russels possession work in the apestuck universe? Is it the same as the gorillaz? What blood would Del be?
Del (Delvon Tipota) is constantly inside Russel's head, so any other rustbloods looking at Russel see a weird blur around him. He takes control of Russel mostly when he's asleep and doesn't project himself outside of the body as frequently as he does in normal Gorillaz canon.
Delvon is purpleblooded. He was the resident big guy who would hang around the lowbloods and shove around anybody who messed with them. He wasn't a subjuggulator and he didn't get used to any psionic abilities; he got a bit better at horrifying people after he died.
There's sort of an odd change in dynamic between them in this AU with Delvon having been born more well-off than Russel.
Russel's eyes flicker heavily when he's possessed; the other band members can tell instantly when he isn't home.

I highly enjoy Murdocs way of typing
Thanks. His quirk was the first one I came up with. I believe in making fantroll quirks as Hussie-accurate as possible - they need to have meaning, they need to be relatively simple to read, and they need to be usable on a QWERTY keyboard without alt codes, emotes, or the Option key. His lowercase Ts are tilted so as to avoid resembling an upright crucifix, and his capitalisation emphasis was heavily inspired by the millennial-ish typing in the #FreeMurdoc campaign.
I like russels little skirt/cute outfit
Thanks! I actually intended for him to have a skirt as part of his outfit from the beginning; his pants were labelled in my files as an alternate costume, but somehow they made it int the original Apestuck post. He does enjoy being comfy, and with how unbearably warm Alternia can get, the skirt was an obvious choice.
