For years, Aradia had had an uncanny knack of being a heavy sleeper when it suited her. Slept like the dead, some would say. Today isn’t an exception. Overcome with tiredness, she’d lain down tucked behind the Inferno for a few welcome Z’s, only to be found by a well-doer. Finding this cold, immobile girl had panicked them and they’d carried her in to the club and up to the medical office.
It’s here that she now wakes up with a yawn and a stretch, sitting up on the hard table. It wasn’t especially comfortable and she definitely doesn’t remember falling asleep inside. She looks around, seeing a woman nearby with their back to her. “Oh, hello! Could you perhaps tell me where I am?”
“C’mere, you can sit in my lap until I’m done working!” Milly beconed TH over as she sat in front of an easel.

They had nearly finished up her gift when theirs had arrived, so between putting the last of her together and looking over photos they send her back a message
“Thank you so much Milly, you truly are a great friend! May I bring your gift over soon?”
Late Night Blues
The evening had run smoothly. Like what seemed like a million before it. The club had lit up in pink and red, the music had thudded out of the speakers and bounced off the walls until the whole space was full of dull roaring noise. The dancers had danced, vying for tips and attention with each other and the waitstaff, the customers were eager drunk idiots like they always were, eyes vacant and faces red as they sated themselves on whatever pleasure it was they needed in their little lives. Things had went well. Earnings were good, not spectacular but good, no one caused any trouble, and by 4 a.m. everyone had closed up and left. Except you.
You tell yourself it’s just because you wanted a drink or five, not that you don’t want to face your empty apartment for another night. You sit at the bar with a bottle of scotch and a glass of ice, pouring, drinking, sulking, repeating.
