Completely soft Genre: Fluff Pairing: Connie Springer (Attack on Titan) Summary: Connie notices you’re feeling self conscious, but what would he do to nourish you? ━━━━━━━ • Connie makes you his top priority, and seeing you sad isn’t something he’s necessarily accommodated to. He soothes you with soft, comforting words like “y/n? hey, I’m right here, look at me. there’s that beautiful face”  • He knows you think a lot, thus causing you to get lost in your own mind, so he likes to ask you about your happy childhood memories so he can take your mind off of your own self depreciation. He just wants to see your eyes light up once again, it’s one of many of his favorites about you. He wish he could capture every moment with you and keep it pinned in his mind forever • Connie will purposely crack little jokes here and there, hoping you’ll at least plaster a small grin across your face. “Your smile is so gorgeous, holy shit. My family...would really love you. I wish they could see you.” • LOTS of affection! He knows you prefer comfort over advice, which is beneficial to him, since he’s not too experienced with offering it. He’ll hug you in front of the mirror, pointing out his favorite features on you. He compliments everything on you, even the things you find the most unsatisfying. “Hey, y’n, look at your eyes,” he cooes, softly pointing your chin up so you’re face front with yourself. “I remember the first time I intensely looked into your eyes,” he says softly into your ear, stroking your hair delicately. “I swear I was supposed to feel nervous, huh? But I just couldn’t bear to look away from them, they’re the most gorgeous eyes I’ve ever seen. They speak a thousand words, love.” • One of your favorite things about Connie is that when you’re unhappy with yourself, he won’t leave your side no matter what. He understands, and even relates, to your anxieties. He’ll stay right next to you, reminding you to breathe while he rambles about how stunning you are. You can’t help but feel your heart bump out of your chest when he does this • At first being hesitant, Connie eventually warmed up to the idea of sharing his insecurities with you. He trusts you more than anyone, you’re the only one he can let his guard down with like this. You’ll both take turns reassuring and comforting each other, whispering sweet nothings into each others ears until all of your thoughts drift away as you lie upon Connie. Despite you feeling loosened up, he’ll still remind you of how captivating you are • He will stroke your face gently when you cry, giving you the time to let everything out. He’ll never tell you to stop crying, Connie knows how relieving crying can be. He knows you have these deprecating thoughts bottled and pent up inside you, so he gives you plenty of time to release it. “Y’know, y/n, I’ve always found it fascinating that even when you’re pouring your heart out, you still remain so graceful and irresistible. You’re s’beautiful, goddamn.” He’d pull you closer into his neck, pain growing deeper in himself as he feels your tears slide down his skin • He’ll give you his clothes that are way too big on you, stealing your polaroid to take the sweetest pictures of you. He’ll frantically shake the photo in his hand until it appears, his face lighting up as a very faint blush appears on his cheeks. He knows that when he goes home, he’ll be hanging these up next to his wide array of pictures of you. He loves admiring you, and you know this. It comforts you • He’ll beg you to tell him what he can do to make you see yourself the way he does, asking if you want to go shopping or have him give you some facial care. He’s not gonna lie, though, he usually has no idea how to use any of your cleansing products and can’t even separate moisturizer from cleanser. In an odd way, watching him struggle for you makes your heart beat like crazy, soothing the rest of your body back to peace.
