Oh my God man Chinatsu’s aquarium fit has me in a CHOKEHOLD she’s beyond gorgeous, hoops, hard worker, exudes class, she’s damn near perfect I totally understand why Taiki down so bad for her lmao. Such a cute start to the episode.
It’s extremely adorable that all this time Chinatsu’s been thinking about that one passing comment she made to Taiki about him having more time to get to nationals. She’s such a genuinely thoughtful and caring person. I think seeing the girl he likes dressed up so pretty and enjoying herself at the aquarium was more than enough to make him feel better.
Also respect to Kyo for not lying or covering it up and letting Taiki know he was to thank for that date even happening lol. W best friend.
Like I said, It hurts because in ANY other series Hina would be best girl but she just happens to be competing against Chinatsu who’s a hooper with Mamba mentality. Very rough last 5-6 minutes or so. It was clear ever since Taiki went on the date that Hina was a little off, even if she didn’t know herself. She tried to give him a little boost with Chinatsu by talking about how cool he is, but she don’t realise she basically ended up explaining all the reasons she likes him and Chinatsu could tell lol.
It didn’t even dawn on me until I saw Chinatsu open the house gate that Hina didn’t know they lived together yet. I’m thinking “aw how sweet she’s giving the phone back” 😭 ended up being one of the saddest moments this week. This is gonna be the start of a long road to recovery and acceptance for her. Kinda worried this could mess her rhythm competition up
