Player is reader, player prob is gonna do stupid stuff, Opticus is Player's mentor and fatheer figure, yes comfort fic. Slight mention of vomit or something. Ass characterization of Opticus. Yes theres angst.
A Sick Day
It was a beautiful day outside, the birds are blooming and the flowers are singing.
It was a great day to go take a walk, a break from the horrors sounded tempting to take. However, one problem occured in this great day.
You're SICK as fuck.
LITERALLY.
Why? Well because you decided to do some stupid things that, looking back now. It made you regret not thinking before your brain started to melt into your skull for how much of a stupid decision that is.
You felt sleepy and it was hard to keep your eyes open and it got harder to pay attention to well.. ANYTHING! And because you felt like you were getting closer to fighting somethimg that is probably the boss of this chapter.
It'd be HORRIBLE for you to even fight them half asleep and 2 braincells that is half intact inside the battle, hell you almost failed Robur's trial because of that.
So you thought that perhaps, if you drank 2 cups of coffee from the random shady guy off the streets would make it feel better!
It did the opposite, you felt sick to the stomach.
Every time you tried eating anything, you couldn't consume anything but tiny scoops of soup and 2 bites of fish.
Even taking a bite out of it made it hard to focus on anything but the pounding headache that rang inside your head and the sickening liquid of that horrible coffee that kept rising up your throat.
Whats even more worse? It was during the frostmaw fight. It took so many damn tries for you to evem beat that stupid stupid dragom and that skeleton warrior who kept on yapping about whatever, you didnt really care anymore. Not when every movement made your brain swirl.
Although, the cold of the fight did well to aid your in your unfortunate situation. You FINALLY beat that STUPID SKELEOYAPPER. Genuinely, their voice was starting to piss you off and it made your head hurt even more.
You expect an enemy you beat up to just dissapear after a monolouge, but nope! Dude kept talking! He started ragebaiting you. So as the last bit of effort and slight fustration that build up because of the horrible decision you made. You killed it.
It made you slightly better but it made you almost throw up.
Now after the events of grabbing that Windwalker. You wanted to keep going but its really really hard to ignore it. Hell, even your surrondings started to look weird. It almost felt like someone out a filter on your vision as a prank, its hard to look out when it added more problems to your headache.
Oh just how much you would give to just go back home and sleep on the soft fabrics of your bed with the smell of home. Maybe it'll make you feel better. But walking made you feel more exhausted and its really not helping.
Just when you were about to pass out, an overly enthusiastic "ho ho ho" made you look up. Wincing slightly to the sudden movement.
It was that familliar old eyeball man. He had his hand on his messy white beard as his green eyeball looked down on you.
"Ah, Hello my dear apprentice! I have heard about your achievement of getting the windwalker!" He said, you could picture a bright smile on his face (?). If he had a mouth that is, he laughed once more.
"I wish I could assist you in your journey but alas if it weren't for my cursed back! But I suppose it would not be needed, ohohoho! The youth always seemed to surprise me in so many ways." You could only give a slight trembling smile that looked so forced that almost everyone would have noticed it, you laugh and say it was all for builderman. You weren't sure about your words but right now, you just want to ease this growing pain.
He was about to say much more before pausing as he looked at you. It slightly made you panic, making the headache worse as it already is. "Hm, forgive me for asking. But are you alright? You don't look too well." He stared, his estatic tone started to lower into a concerned one.
You tried to reassure him with yet an another lie but he wasn't easily fooled.
"Now now, I may be an old man. But I can recognize a lie when I see one." He put his hand on his chest before staring at you with his own stubborness that he summoned. "You have no need to lie to me, dear apprentice. As your mentor, my job is to teach you all the arcane knowledge I can offer. To nurture you until you grow into your very best self!!" He exclaimed with a dramatic flair before pointimg his gloved finger at you.
"For that to happen, I must know the roots of this problem. So we can progress your growth! Do not hesitate! Tell me what clouds your mind." He stood there, finger still pointed as he awaited for either an another stubborn reassurance or an actual answer.
He doesnt seem to budge from his resolve and you? No your brain is too smashed up to even resist anymore. Plus you're quite literally on the verge of passing out. You might as well let go of that stubborn persona and simply tell him.
As you explained, he nodded in reply. Letting you finish as he spoke. "I see.. well. While I am quite proud of what you achieved today and congratulate you on your endurance. But..." He paused, truly looking at you.
You couldn't tell but you felt the look of worry that emanated from him. It made you feel confused, fustrated, and most importantly.
Vunerable.
You hated it just as much you hate this unbearable sickness that rose from your stomach to your head. It felt wrong, it felt sickening. Much more sickening than the burning liquid inside your system.
You wanted to take back your words, to step away from this sudden moment of vunerability. After all, its wrong. You don't deserve the concern of others. Not after what you did.
His voice snapped you out of your haze as you quickly hid it, looking at him once more.
"... You made one mistake!" He turned the atmosphere into an another dramantic flair. "That is, not askint for help! Even the greatest of warriors need assistance! Lest they fall on their own." He pats your shoulder. His words almost made you cringe, goodness why do you embarress yourself like this.
"Nothing to worry about! Take this moment as a reminder. Now, can you walk?" He asked. You shook your head, theres NO WAY you can stand another round of walking. Even standing makes you feel exhausted! He simply nodded. "Let us embark on a quest! A quest to cure sickness! You can rest in the tower. Now hold on tight." He held you with a surprising gentle grip as your surrondings changed with a sound of a pop and green smoke.
Ugh, its starting to make your head spin. But its much more better than having to walk back to your hotel room. (Even though you could just teleport..) "Make yourself at home, I shall prepare a concoction to ease your disease!" He set you down on what you think is a bed. It wasn't like the familliar smell of your own bed. But at this point, you'll take anything.
He walked away to get what hopefully is medicine. You let yourself settle down on the covers of the bed. Its still there but it at least helped! Although the warm liquid inside your body isnt making it better. You don't really want to throw up either-
"Forgive me for not mentioning this earlier but what is the root of your sickness? And one more, have you eaten yet" He suddenly popped up out of nowhere beside the bed. Your body was too settled to be scared but it sure did do numbers to the already hurting head! Goodness it hurts so much that your skull felt like it was squishing your brains.
You answered his question, your voice came out like a mumble but thankfully he seemed to understand. "I see, that is all. Please endure a bit longer, I shall prepare a bowl of soup that will challenge your woes." He said with a whimsical note before dissapearing with a puff of green smoke.
You nodded as you closed your eyes. It still hurts but hey, as long as you could sleep it off with the medicine provided.. I'm sure you'll be okay.. hopefully.
You waited for what seemed to be hours. You finally hear the familliar popping sound of green smoke, this time holding a bottle with silver linings and some red glowing liquid that has green bubbles that seemed to float up to the surface, much like a soda. In his other hand, he held a bowl of soup. A glorious smell that almost silenced your bad stomach, it had a hint of chicken and carrots. Mixed with other smells your brain is too smudged to recognize.
"Apologies for the wait, here is the concoction! Eat first then drink it after. No need to finish everything on the bowl." He reminded as you sat up, the dizzying sensation returning into your head as you took the bowl of soup and the bottle with an almost desperate grip.
Thanking him as you took a sip. It tasted much more amazing than the smell itself! The taste was like it made from the heavens and the tiny bits of chicken was tender. Too bad your stomach doesnt seem to like that idea. You only managed to finish 1/4th of the bowl.
"I hope it settles your stomach a bit, I took up a hobby of cooking while undergoing my own training of magic when I was your age." He said it with a hint of nostalgia. Almost reflecting back to his past as he cleared your throat. "But you do not need to finish it, what matters is you have enough food in your system to take the medicine." He reassured. You grabbed the bottle, inspecting its almost intricate design that felt cool to the touch. Its like the bottle itself was magic. You grabbed the cork of the bottle, surprisingly taking it out as you took a swig.
It was a mix of a bitter and sweet tangy taste that burned your taste buds, which in return made you let out a pained hiss. "Ah, forgive me. The concoction can taste a bit.. err.. horrid. But I'd advise you to keep drinking." He noted, laughing again with that strange 'ohohoho' which for some reason, made you feel slightly.. happy? You're not quite sure. But he seemed to stare at you, as if hes trying to make sure you drank all of it.
You nodded, taking a deep breath as you tried to drink it slowly. You were surprised it didn't make you throw up on the first sip but you kept on going despite the strange taste. You finally finished the bottle, giving it back to him with a grimace of a smile as he chuckled once more.
"Amazing work! It'll take a few minutes to work. But for now take a rest, if you feel the need to throw up. You can use the pot, although if you do.. you may have to remind me. You still need to digest the medicine." He said as he gestured to a pot that you didn't notice before that was now lying down on the ground beside the bed. As if it was trying to gaslight you on thinking it was always here.
He grabbed the bowl of soup to put it somewhere, you felt bad for not finishing it. It tasted good too.. but oh the woes of being a sick person. You promise him that when you feel a bit better, you would finish it this time. He replied with an another laugh. "Ah no need! But I'd be delighted. I'm happy that my cooking made you feel better." I swear, if he had a mouth. He would gave you the nost brightest smile ever! If it wasnt covered by the beard that is.
"Rest now, dear apprentice. Let your woes go and perhaps you'll be able to finish this." He assured you as he walked off to who knows where as you lied down again.
You felt.. strangely happy. It felt disgusting to do that but for now. In this very moment, you let yourself rest.
Maybe being a little vunerable is alright.. though the thought will probably be ignored once you get better but who knows.
..what a nice day to end.
I FINALLY DID IT. UGHHHHHH. I might make it a series with the rest of the fharacters idk, I feel horrible. I'll do jt later.. euthrhrjj
so the transformers hyperfixation has taken a slight backseat as of late and I've gotten a lot more into Cookie Run...
(This is a mockup of Pitaya Dragon Cookie's wing)
and cosplay. Cosplay as well. I'll have to learn how to make armor eventually, so why not start wjth my favorite skrunkly skrimblo I could definitely beat in a fist fight
☕️ friend group in which each character has a color assigned to them
i mean, to be fair thats cool. BUT like when the color coding is LIKE WAYYYY too obvious like they wear the same colour everyday idk it seems un-natural, but yeah! its okay like for example toes is purple, you are green, and so on (at least in my head shwiKH)

The fact that Bo was supposed to be purple rather than his palette being pink.
Initially, it was supposed to be blue and purple rather than pink and gold, however an alter coloured him in as pink. His purple-muted scarf is a small tribute to what his original palette was supposed go consist of and tbh it fits with the bright pinks!
I like the final outcome though, purple-blue bo I'd a weird thought. and the gold colours clashing with the current palette is pretty too as it symbolizes obium too! considering obium is associated with gold so it'd make sense
and also canonically bo made his outfit before leaving, he wanted to leave looking stylish at least yk
Me escondia atrás dos meus sentimentos e pra falar a verdade até me preferia assim.
