Im on like a kick with pretty movies and I must ask the people of tumblr because all the prettiest girls with the cutest aesthetics have tumblr

Anyway, what’s a movie that like.. gives off baby pastels and lace or just general prettiness

It can be any genre, any year, can ostensibly be good or bad, but its gotta have the right fun/dumb/wtf am I even watching? Energy.

Example - Face/Off is PEAK this. Epitome of this. So bad it becomes a work of garbage art and ends up being fun. The stupid shit becomes really endearing and amusing, and suprisingly well done scenes get shine.

The Mummy (1999) also has this vibe, even if its more coherent. I suspect Showgirls might get me feeling this way, but I have not seen it. Hot Frosty or Malignant are the most recent ones to hit this, but even then, both were like...1/2-2/3rds there.

So....simultaneously dumb, but enjoyably dumb, may or may not have good elements like sincere acting, genre love, competent or even good action pieces, that sort of thing. Like where its trackable, it may even be competently made, but the fun is very high. The dumb is not an insult, the dumb IS the point.
