Finished up the track anvil and fixed it to the track plate anvil. Made four nails to fix it to the stand.

I picked up a fabricated anvil stand from a friend. I drilled & tapped the steel plate for 3/8 bolts & made a couple of tie down brackets. I needed a portable anvil & stand setup that I could bring with me and move around myself. It’s nice & low for group forging. Made a new anvil and stand yesterday! Needed a hardy hole, which my other anvil doesn't have. The track plate I picked up as a piece of scrap. The 4x4's are from my mom's old mailbox post. My mom's neighbor gave me the 2x4's for free. Lined the hardy hole with a black steel pipe.

Cut a few inches off the legs to adjust the anvil to knuckle height. Had to do this because I've been having the start of an issue with my right arm. Will have to take at least the next week or two off to try and recover. Also added a base and supports for more stability.

Welding project is coming along nicely. After a few errors in cutting, I finally got a top frame that fits on the tapered legs. Top frame is now welded to legs. And it fits my anvil perfectly. Main body of my anvil stand is complete.
