PRO. She's a lot more attentive than one might give her credit for! She's a gift giver, and a lot of thought goes into not only what a person might like, but all the little details she knows about them. Hand crafted gifts are her favorite, it's a show of care for her; yes, she enjoys grand gestures, she'll go above and beyond to show that she cares, but it's in the little things. A flower lover? She'll hunt down ones with the most symbolic meaning if she can find them. An overachiever to a T, she will ruminate for months on end about the best thing she can get to show that she cares, how deep her affections run. Nothing less than the best, even if it doesn't always go to plan! She'd rather try than not at all, and if she fails? She'll keep going until she gets it right.

Truly a power couple if you've ever seen one. I love toxic yuri and there is nothing healthy that could come from this, many of Charlie's romantic pursuits fall into that category though to be honest. I've mentioned before, Charlie loves powerful women, if her baseline is loving women by default then you can imagine how she feels around someone who knows what she wants and isn't afraid to take that I.e, Velvette.

It's a bit of a new ship for me for sure, insofar as any particular ideas for them, I'm not quite certain yet! It's a ship I'd have to develop ideas with another writer for sure (ehehe), albeit I do believe they fall into that snug category of unstoppable vs immovable. Depending on when / what verse their ship is developed in can change the nature of their relationship, but ultimately Charlie will work to smooth out Velvette's harsh edges and Velvette will push Charlie for better or worse to take more control and, more importantly, stop taking so much shit.

I was talking a bit with Devilvette about this, and the contradiction between Charlie's power vs her unwillingness to use it is a strange juxtaposition from the outside in; Charlie is CONSTANTLY trying to appeal to what people want, to appease. For someone like Velvette, who really couldn't give a fuck what lesser bitches think of her last it affects her overall publicity (her flux of caring and not giving a fuck), I imagine would be quite frustrating to see in the beginning, paired with Charlie's frequent hesitance and rigid stubbornness. In this way, they'd clash a fair bit, and as we know Velvette doesn't mince words. What's interesting though, is she isn't quite unused to the behaviors Charlie exhibits because she's seen it ... in Vox!

One thing for sure that can be said here is that Charlie does value truth, she has a complicated relationship with people's blunt honestly as the daughter of Pride, himself. Any perceived wrong she's done makes her dig her heels in more if she believes herself to be correct in her behavior. But! She does listen, even if it takes time. And she would value Velvette's opinion because, at it's core, it's care hidden behind frustration. That's the way Charlie would conceptualize it anyways, she's full of romanticizing!

I also just think Velvette loves being spoiled with attention, genuine praise (Charlie's genuinity would majorly ick her though in the beginning), and princess treatment. Which pairs so nicely with Charlie's desire to serve. They really could build each other up and break each other down. Also, both are categorically crazy. You can't just LEAVE a relationship with Velvette vs Charlie's rebellious Watch Me streak.
